What Impressive Things Can You Do on a Bike??

Featured Replies

As for me i can stand on my seat while its moving

And i can do a wheelie

But the reason i made this topic is because everytime i look at a person(mostly kids) who are on bikes they always seem to show off whether it would be falling on purpose to make them look good (

so right now you can show off what you can do on your bike with anyone giving you a vicious stare

so show me what you got :P

Isn't it lovely how having an opinion makes you hated around here?

I dont think thats anything impressive, i could stand on the saddle, do a wheelie and ride no handed when i was 10

im not asking you people if u think im immpressive im asking what you can do that is immpressive :D

Nothing, except stand on the seat with 1 foot (Holding onto the handlebars) with the other foot in the air, not that hard actually... That's it really :?

Juggle them.

Juggle them.
Ha, well I can juggle them while standing no footed on the seat doing the russian dance while writing a novel.

I used to ride trials a fair bit so i could do some unusual things on my bike, not sure if you'd call them impressive but here's a basic rundown of some tricks:

Back hop - basically this involves keeping the rear brake on, lifting the front wheel and hopping along on the back wheel. Usually this was done to get from one object to another, or over a gap.

Front hop - same principal as above but done on the front wheel. Couldn't hop as far with this one though.

Rock walk - kinda complicated but essentially you slam the front brake on when you're riding along and flick your hips so the bike spins 180 degrees. Then you immediately swing the front end around to complete a 360 degree turn.

Bunnyhops - using your legs and arms, lift both wheels off the floor at the same time. I used this a lot, mostly hopping sideways off walls and stuff.

Wheelies/manuals - we all know what a wheelie is, but a manual is the same thing, without turning the pedals. So basically you find a point of balance and hold it, kinda the same as you do on a skateboard.

Endo/1foot endo/nofoot endo - slam the front brake on, lifting the rear wheel high in the air (endo). You can then take one foot, or both feet off the pedals for extra effect, works well if you click your heels in front of the handlebars.

Those are just the basics really, then on top of that there's the stuff you can do on jumps. Come to think of it, i miss the days of hopping around on my bike.

Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.

with my training wheels, i rarely fall off

I could do back hops :D

Soooo long ago though :(

That's probably the most impressive thing I could ever do.

i can ride it.

wheelie, where you spin the front 720, stand on front beg and turn bike. Nothing to hard really.

I think I got "Falling on my face, over-the-handle-bars-style" pretty much down by now...and it only took 5 front teeth.

I hate bikes. Mainly because I get too crazy on them and usually end up on my face.

The first front tooth was when I was little, I just tipped over off a sidewalk and landed on my face, knocked myself out, too. :P

The rest were when I was 12 to 15, 3 of them were because of hitting something loose in the road, gravel, acorns, etc. 1 was because I thought it'd be a good idea to ride my bike up a tree...the tree was at like a 45 degree angle, stop thinking I'm THAT dumb!...and the last one was because I tried a backflip one too many times. I landed it but my face also bashed into the handle bars. woot.

It's amazing I'm not deformed by now..

My bikes are trashed now but here's what I could do-

Ground

Wheelie- Decent, not bad.

Bunny hop- Pretty good, even on a banana seat bike.

Endo- Mountain bike brakes work great!

No handers- I can no hander in a straight line, around bends, and no doubt I've done a no hander 1/2 a mile long.

Skid- Yep the almighty best ever trick.

Off jumps

No hander lander- I suck at this trick, then again I dont want my teeth nocked out.

Tail whip- Pretty fun!

Front wheel land- Did this once. Maby twice...Alto in my younger days of beng a 5year old.

Rear wheel land- FUN!

Mid air handlebar turn- pretty good.

And I've got plenty of tales to tell you not how to do a trick. Couple head bangers, handle bar flips, cuts, gashes, scrapes, bruises, uh..scars....etc.[/u]

To stand in the valley of death is one thing, to not have been able to stop the chaos is another.

Get from A to B, and I can do it without hands. 8)

for some reason im doubting you can do whips if thats your other trick list.

i ride bmx but i cant do to much.

basic stuff like tuck no handers, 180, 360, 540/360 tiretaps, barspins, x-ups, table tops etc.

workin on some decent stuff. ive almost got whips and turndowns down, im gona try to learn flips asap.

I can surf (put one foot on the saddle, one on the handle bars and ride along with no hands.. Pretty tricky), Endo, Bunnyhop and this cool thing where you stand on the back pegs, then raise the front wheel and spin the handle bars 360 degrees and catch then land.

Lvl 80 construction.

Dragon Drops: 11 (4 Chains, 2 Axes, 1 Med, 2 Skirts, 1 Legs, 1 2h)

God Wars Drops: 4 Zamorakian Spears, 1 Godsword Shard 1

I can fall off with spectacular proficiency.

I've not ridden a bike for a while now, and suspect that I can no longer do... anything on it, other than ride normally. Mind you, I was never "good" with a bike--not that I've ever tried to be--in the first place.

Tail whipps are easy! Just angle the bike right and get youre rearend out, swing back and land. Bananna seat bikes and mountain bikes rule! :D

16....

I'm really big into mountain biking, I don't play runescape anymore :P.

I can do all kinds of tweaks, wheelies, manuals, lotsa trials moves, no footers, one footed flattys, and I can do lotsa big jumps and drops. I've ridden at whistler, you'll probably be jealous of that if you into mountain biking.
