no most ppl shouldn't get hit to much while tanking i think so y do i get hit so much i get damaged about 3-25hp per avansies

I'd say adding +3 range attack to kill the aviansie faster would help more than having +2 more range defence added to the already massive range defence of barrows.

A marginal attack bonus of +3 will make such a negligible effect on his accuracy and therefore his killing speed that he will still be taking the same amount of damage per kill

 

 

 

A marginal increase of +2 range defence however will knock maybe 1 or 2 hp off the amount of damage he is taking per kill.

 

 

 

If he had the 80+ defence to avoid taking high damage yes that marginally accuracy increase of the +3 would be worthwhile, but with his defence he needs to tank on all the defence he can get meaning the +2 defence is more worthwhile.

 

 

 

Also rogue boot are easy to get, take an hour, at the very most, out of your day at rogues den and you will get full rogues easily

In the month I had membership I tanked at aviansies with 60 defense and crappy armor and I could easily survive off b2p tabs for as long as needed to. If anything it's probably your range level that needs to be higher.

Oh yup, the issue is that the 200+ ranged armor bonus he has needs another 2. Clearly adding another 1% will knock a full 1-2hp off what he takes each round.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, +3 ranged attack in a tank outfit probably is more like 5-15%, depending on the outfit. Snakeskin are better, attack bonuses are more difficult to boost than defense ones, and thus small boosts are a bigger percentage increase. This almost always applies, not just for ranged.
