Now that we have clan chats we don't have to stand around in one area to talk as a group. Besides I would rather skill than stand around talking.

Now they hang in a tif related clan chat and do the same, sadly. :(

Ye I do I go alot on 99 and chat with people in edge. I do alot of stuff with tipiters

I don't see whats wrong, if you're right by each other, first you're going to just be reading what they're saying, just like you'd do in a clan channel and you can't exactly multi-task.

Eh, the majority of the RuneScape community is crap. I can't play Castle Wars anymore without twenty guys saying " noob".

 

Tip.It was the only thing that kept me entertained on RuneScape; the community and my friends from there. But you know; the community worsened and Jagex made certain updates I'm not too happy about and kinda got bored with it.

 

 

 

But still: Tip.It is the only reason why I log back into RuneScape once in a while and stay on these forums. It's a santucary in a land of darkness...

I just dont feel clan chat gives the same "feel" as standing with loads of people at edgeville while talking.

im in edgy world 7. seems like tifers hate f2per but even f2p tifer dont go to world 7 unless its for strange occasions. i think that tif should publisize their events better and make them more worthwhile to go to. maybe have organized events that happen all the time on that day etc.

To start off with I haven't really been on Runescape much lately and it is getting a bit hard for me to get on and play...but...

 

 

 

Are you being a Tipiter?

 

You know like back in the good old days when everyone would just hang around in Edgeville and socialise with other Tipiters - do we still do that today?

 

It seems that Runescape is turning into a big skillfest, with everyone training for hours on end to be the best. Do you ever just stop training and go around Runescape saying "HYT!" and meeting with your fellow Tipiters? We skill hard, then we party hard. :).

 

 

 

I would love to see a sense of community brought back into Tipit, it seems as though it is getting a little dull here.

 

So go out and meet some people! Head to Edgeville or even Castle Wars on world 99 or world 7 for F2Pers and meet up with some Tipiters. Have a blast and meet some new friends! :)

I use w99 from time to time, but I don't usually use it while slaying. I use a crowded world. Clan chat is better to use anyway than going all the way to w99 edgeville just to end up not knowing anyone there.

 

 

 

Also hyt people from time to time on w99, usually bsc'ers \

When I do go to Edgeville, I barely ever see a Tip.iter, just conversing with others.

 

Though when I do see somebody I do know from Tip.it, I try to pass a nice Hyt.

I say HYT when I recognise someone but I'm really bad with remembering people :lol:

 

I do spend time in edgeville when crafting/fletching/alching/smithing though, but not as much as I used to. I remember ages ago you'd go into edgey bank and yell hyt! and you'd be spammed so bad with hyt!'s back.

For me, the Tip.it tradition is staying true to my friends. I don't care what you say about the rest of the community, I can count on my friends to always be there when it counts and they know I'll do the same for them.

Actually the Tipit community is pretty poor. Everyone sees that it is full of elitists and their sycophantic hangers-on, but no one will admit it. Tip.it is built on falseness and it's older mebers bloated egos. I use this site for the good guides it has and thats all. Il be flamed to death for saying this. :|
