Bunyip Slaying:

Slayer Helmet

Fighter Torso/Barrows body

Barrows Legs

D Boots

RFD Gloves

Bersker Ring

Fury

Rune Defender

Whip/D scimitar

Obby Cape/Skill Cape/Fire Cape

You'll need about 2-3 Bunyips per task so take a 2 dose of Summoning potion on every task you'll use him on.

Keep a good supply of Pure Sets handy. It's about 2-3 Pure sets per task.

A hundred or so Home tabs.

Get a home glory for banking in edge and easy access to GE. Get a canafis portal for teleing to slayer tower.

Bring a dds for specs.

A cannon for kalphites and the like.

1k or so monks if you're going to use a fighter torso since you'll lose a lot of defense and need a few of these as backup on tasks.

Bunyip should be all you need on every task if you use a barrows body.

Bring alchs if you're not on lunar.

Be on lunar preferably.

And it's only good to start slaying with a combat familiar at 79+ summoning. If you get that then switch out bunyip pouches for titans and buy guthans for healing.

Get a whip and train on controlled, your stats are pretty good for that.

Buy a fury.No substitute. Just buy the fury. <3:

And i would highly reccomend the berserker ring since the +4 slash is incredibly small while the +4 str really makes a difference.

One more thing, if you want slayer exp mostly, then don't bother with ranging any tasks whatsoever. Melee is much better on everything really. But if you want the range exp, i guess you could sacrifice a bit of slayer exp per hour for it if you want. But keep the karils for bloodvelds and mage based attacks.

Well if you're going to use summona then a cannon is almost completely needed. The majority of her tasks are cannonable.

Use a ring of wealth, not a warrior. It makes a big difference in how much you make from drops.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Fury is important, but rings honestly don't make much of a difference no matter what it is. I just use Ring of Life in case of lag or something. (Saved my hide a few times so far. ;) ) Get whatever ring you are most comfortable with.

Also the ring of slaying has many uses once you can make them. I can easily tele to Sumona after my task and tele top the main slayer spots (i.e. tower, cave, and desert dungeon)

instead of dds use dragon battle, much better

And don't listen to this. :-# Super str's are much better since you can use a dds with it.

Pretty much everything Robinhoodie said. Although, I find that the Overlord and Void Spinner work pretty well for combat and healing, respectively. But if you can use a Bunyip, go with the Bunyip.

EDIT: Buy an SS for Gargoyle and Waterfiend tasks, but otherwise, train controlled with a whip, it's much more efficient. If you use your DDS specs a lot, your strength experience will skyrocket past your other stats, but that's OK.

Buy a fury.

Use a Barrows plate.

ROW increases charm drops, so I'd use it, but Explorer's Ring is fine if you absolutely cannot hold onto drops.

Use a cannon as often as possible.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Read the axe man jack slayer guide, this has so much info for pro slayers.

Also, there is a section in the guide that has a list of quests, do them all.

GL on slayer, its a great 99 to have.

well that guides kind of old but i have read it. i have done all quests(looks at sig) but yea i think ill go for a ss as soon as i hit 75 for the gargs and i think i will switch back to shilo by then as by then i will have black demons and steel drags blocked

Sara gs if/when you can afford :D

LOTS of pure sets, a goof amount of bunyip,

best food:

PINEAPPLE pizzaz! heal 22 in 2 bites, cost 500gp or so, less cost the shark, higher heal \:D/ better then monks also

QFT, And if you make your own, which took me 30 minutes to make roughly enough to last me 6 or so months w/bunyip (Lol, I still have like 500 left)

it only costs like 210 or so gp p/pizza.

Just wondering, why is SS so good for gargoyle tasks exactly? I can understand w/fiends but..

They're made of stone/granite, and they seem to be weak to crush attacks. I personally don't think it's worth the reduced attack bonuses, but I guess crush works.

Thanks, Never knew that, I usually just use godsword but don't set it to crush, still seems to work great, I must try it some time :wall: #-o
