runescape ad on german tv

That was a pretty lame "ad" if it really is an "ad". Just clips from the RSHD promo. I doubt the person who posted the video made it, if it is a fake, which I'm pretty sure it is.

 

 

 

...the use of Windows Movie Maker pretty much gives him away.

I think the term "low budget" would better suit the ad. Which I suppose is why they are advertising.

Should be interesting to see if they make tv adverts for the British channels such as BBC :lol:

 

 

 

I'm sure that in most countries, Runescape commercials would get a slating, the adverts wont appeal to that many people.

RS needs it as much as coca cola needed there GTA ad.

 

Having said that it does look funny as hell.

 

 

 

On the topic;

 

It think its very hit and miss. The more ads they make/use (yes this one wasn't funded by Jagex) they will have to get more customers or the price of membership will increase.
