Just as long, obviously, as claws don't use any extra supplies or something. You kill way more rexes/trip though.

I suggest you do slayer dart, you can take better pray bonus gear and still hit high...

I have used Claws of Guthix with a magic bonus of about -10 before, still much quicker than Slayer dart.

I have used Slayer dart alot, and it's excellent spell. But seeing as SirHartlar answered my final question:

 

 

 

My conclusion will be: COG beats Slayer dart. Cause you do not loose any defense+prayer ( which matters for the trip). You just get a spell that kills rex faster and also +2 more prayer bonus.

 

 

 

Why? When using infinity boots (instead of dragon boots,slayer darT) you do not loose any range defense bonus (Spinos attacks with magic+range, and you pray magic most of time).

 

 

 

Also, when you use Guthix cape for the charge spell, you loose -4 prayer bonus but you get that prayer bonus back: from Void knight mace.

 

 

 

Void Knight mace gives +6 prayer bonus and it beats Skill cape.

 

 

 

So i can't wait to test this out once i am member again.

Slayer Dart is affected by armor you (...Mod Edit: Don't attack people ~assassin). Charged CoG wins by default. :roll:

It's time for you two to stop posting, but not me. I did a mistake about slayer dart, as i said: i misread what Runescape wiki said+i have myself tested slayer darts accuracy with and without magical armor. Have not notice any changes.

But no void piece goes in the cape slot...don't compare mace to skillcape, it's the god cape. :roll:

Then the skill cape prayer bonus (+4) is out====

 

 

 

Then Void knight mace=backs it up and adds+2 more.

I am not comparing cape with mace, i am just showing how Void Knight Mace can work as a prayer item+a replacement for Skillcape.

I know it's been answered, but claws is far better, good enough to make up for any lost defense bonuses. I've beaten 2 people using dart when I was using claws alone.

One question that wasn't answered was how long can some-one last with CoG. I start with a tortoise then switch to a bunyip when the tortoise is empty. I can usually last around 2 1/2 hours using this method. Haven't counted but I would guess between 50-60 kills. You could probably go longer with 99 def and titans.

Same as with dart lol. Only difference is you get a LOT more kills if you use claws.
