ladycai
When you're monster hunting or just training melee for fun, do you: - use prayers before/after combat (ie, protect from melee to stay longer) - piety/chivalry (for the extra def/hits) Or are you like me and never use them despite the circumstances because you're too lazy to charge at an altar? :P 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
Seraphyna
It depends what I'm fighting. I usually don't use prayer at all. The only place I use it at really is protect from mage at spiritual mages and protect from mage and piety at skeletal wyverns. It isn't because I'm lazy, I just think it's a waste of potions, time consuming to run to an altar to recharge, and I have 99 defence so I rarely need it anyway. I'm more inclined to use a super strength potion.

The Observer
I use my prayer if I'm in dire trouble as in low HP or if I want to see my maximum hit. Since I'm F2P, that only adds up to 26.
ilovecardj
Depends on my mood. Ill flash piety if im not feeling lazy. Ill pray to finish a task if I need to. If my pray is low after a task ill piety the rest away before i charge at an altar. i am cautious of using ppots though Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning

Tribbleman
I use protect from melee/range/mage when I'm out of food and am on a slayer task. Zierro
I really should get into the habit of using pray on slayer tasks, but I always forget. But anyways, 85 Prayer is really useful at GWD - I rarely ever need to drink pots. And I nearly always use Piety when I use the GS spec.
spooferfish
I don't pray on alot of things.. But for black demons ill say, i just turn the prayer on, and kill, kill, kill.
xSxqPowerx
I pretty much always use piety now. And if prayer is needed for me to do a task or something in 1 trip at maximum efficiency, I'll use protection prayers too.
jimmyjames227
Somtimes I use prayer in bursts like when I'm killing vyrewatch or other tough monsters. Otherwise I save it for randoms. Mimesenior
I'm lazy like you, I don't like using prayer if it's uneeded. Sometimes I use a protection prayer if I'm having a bad day with the Guthan's but other than that I don't use it. P.S. If I'm skilling I sometimes go weeks with 0 prayer...
Seogege
Haha, I'm completely like you. I'm always too lazy to recharge my prayer at an altar! But I did use to use prayers to stay longer. Then I found recharging my prayers too much of a hassle, and rather dangerous if a random monster pops up and hits you. Click Here for my RSOF 99 Construction G&A thread! Post your support! tintin113
I use piety for the first load of hits after I've potted up, and when I spec. Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
Den
Piety for special attack if the monster im killing doesnt require prayer. If it does require prayer, I just use that prayer and nothing else. ........::::: Rainy's YouTube Channel - Rainy's Twitter - Rainy's Facebook - Rainy's DeviantArt - Rainy's Tumblr - Rainy's Tip.It Profile :::::......... H2PM
Most of the time I'll use peity. yondergod22
im like you, I just hate seeing my prayer at lower than 70. but I use in in minigames that recharge it, and when im killing things that require it, like high level dragons, barrows, etc.
Dragon_lord
I never use Prayer when trainning, not unless there's an altar right next to me all the time (which is unlikely :P) Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? tintin113
When monster-hunting, definitely. Now I have SGS I can also piety quite a lot of my tasks without using a pray pot.
