Classifying Pure Clans

Featured Replies

I'm just wondering from all of you, how do you classify pure clans? Would you judge by levels? What levels would you pick out?

Under 30 def

In an ideal world a pure clan would be full of people with 1 defence, but I know pure clans accept up to 30 defence now.

to define wat pure clans r u must first define wat pures r

pure: a strategy on owning ppl in the wild by overpowering them in one aspect of fighting (mostly offense) this is done by cutting off of one combat skill in order to cut down on combat levels, giving u an advantage over ur opponent

err that was close enough...

so a pure clan would be a clan full of these err. well. pures

most of the time it would be ppl with low defense but i can actually be

rune pure (40def), black pures (10def)

def pures (60def)

prayer pures (50 prayer)

lol  got carried away at the end but for most ppls terminology it would be low defense.

I remember in runescape classic looking at a fansite that was explaining pures. Included such legendary titles as "Prayer beast", "Mithril pure" and "The ranger". Was quite an entertaining read, despite not being amazingly informative.

In runescape now i think i'd say a PURE CLAN is anything under 30 defence. Of course VH is famously known for having the best "Rune pures" at 45 def.

Depends on the Pures, but hell, I am not used with Pure Clans.

I would say 30- usually, but sometimes you have the occasional barrows pure, rune pure etc.

Any pure except a def/rune pure and some kinds of hybrids should have 1 def, period.

So what about those that use mystic or infinity robes?

Are they not pures at 20 def?

what about tank clans?

for example i have a pure in an extremely inactive tank clan where all members must eventually get 90 defence with no more than 70 attack and str.

this is a pure clan too in my opinion...

40, or 60 attack.

Any strength Req.

Any Magic Req.

Any Range Req.

Any Prayer Req.

- 10 defense.

Variables that may affect if they are accepted into any clan:

- Summoning level

- Attack level

- Prayer level

- Combat level

*With new pvp worlds and level ranges combat will be significant once again.

That is just how I classify what a pure clan is or what should be accepted to keep what a pure really is. Nowadays if you have under 25 defense and a 90+ stat your in. Ridiculous yes.

Pures are specialized runescape attacks undermining the combat system.

Barrows or rune pures are the same concept, just different, so different that it's the same distance as a pure is from a main. A clan with a 20-40 def req isn't a pure clan but a RUNE pure clan, same with a 70 def req clan, it's a barrow pure clan not a pure clan.

In about 2 months if the level ranges are 1,2,3...etc as they were before, we'll see a lot of pure clans going back to the -15 defense reqs and being very mean to those above 85+ combat in F2P, and those over 97ish in P2P. Level ranges in my mind are going to kill clans or split clans up.
