What were your thoughts on the movie?

 

 

 

I went and saw it a few nights ago, and I loved it. It is pretty much non stop action and makes you think about if this could be real. Who knows what the miltarey are doing :P.

It looks like a good movie, I'm going to try and convince my parents to take me down to it with my mates (Them not being in the cinema of course ;) ).

The action sequences annoyed me, and after a point it was too predictable. Apart from that it was pretty good.

I saw it Sat and I thought it was a great movie. It had some great action scenes and the plot definitely kept you guessing. I had a couple problems with it, though.

And I thought it was kind of a stupid that Jerry lived at the end. I doubt someone who fired multiple shots during the State of the Union would only be shot once.[/hide]

Yeh that's something me and a mate argued about. It would pretty much be impossible to create a short with just a computer at a specifc point.

[hide=Spoiler]Normally, that probably would happen, but he only did it because the president and his entire cabinet was about to be assassinated. The gov't knew that Eagle Eye had gotten out of control, so they actually thanked him for it (hence the metal of honor he got). At first I thought he was gonna shoot the kid, too, but if he did, it would give the movie a roundabout ending (not to mention really sad). No doubt would Jerry had been killed if he shot the kid. Plus Rachel's involvement would've been completely pointless. The only reason she was following the instructions was so her son would live, and if he died at the end, I think a lot of people would be pissed off. She coulda just said '[bleep] you' at the beginning, and saved us a couple hours.[/hide]

Alright, after seeing this movie, does anyone else have the urge to destroy every technological device they come across? :lol:

I'm going to be watching it in a few hours. I'm not really going in with high expectations, but that's more so I don't get disappointed.

I want to see it! It comes out where I live in like.. 2 days :/ We dont get all the new releases strait away, but we do get them all! :D

I thought it was pretty mediocre and very predictable/cheesy. Still better than most of the other stuff I've seen this year (aside from the Dark Knight).

Was pretty good. [hide=Spoiler]Towards the end, it ended up reminding me of i Robot, and it was pretty lame that he lived.. I expected him to die from 3 shots to the chest.. #-o[/hide]

Meh, it takes the Rule of Cool a bit too far, but it was still worth the watch. :P

I enjoyed it for the action, but the plot got pretty damn farfetched. And that's not even mentioning that me and my buddy totally called the whole [hide=]AI gone wrong bit[/hide]in the first 30 minutes.

I want to be a producer just to stop the same damn cliches. Why can't evil win? Why can't there be a movie with no conflict, just a guy living a perfect life?

I often wonder why Shia Laboeuf keeps getting acting jobs when he erm...lacks any sign of acting ability or even any trace personality. Same goes for Orlando Bloom.

I don't really think Shia is the problem. I think he's a pretty sympathetic. He's got a kind of charm that others, Bloomd included, don't have. In a way this is a key film as well, since this presents us the face of the new action hero. It doesn't make it any better though. :

Actually,I beat him I was thinking about VAL after a few calls.

 

 

 

And Shia was pretty good as Scot Evil.Unless I messed up actors again.As to how a computer can cut the power?I'd assume she'd send loads of current through it?

All in all,pretty predictable and some parts were just stupid of her.I mean,
