Since i read about pvp worlds coming this month,im all on needles.I dont know what is going to happen with price of this godsword,and If it raises i dont know if i'll be able to afford it later.

 

 

 

What you think is going to happen with bgs after new pvp worlds come. is it going to raise in price?

 

 

 

Thing is I got like 18m in gold,in my bank, but I dont have 2m I need to buy it. Altho I do have Dragon Axe (Hatchet),or Mage's Book,or amulet of fury i should probably sell for buying godsword,than earning back money to buy back my axe,or whatever I might sell.I dont know if any of these items im attending to sell might raise due to pvp update just like bgs does (if it does)..D Axe lowers opponents magic by the way.I got no clue what to do

 

 

 

What is your oppition on this.I dont know if update is coming tomorow or in 2 days,or today...

I don't think it will go up that much and not worth it to risk your money. Your best option for making money off PVP was buying food and potions but since so many people have invested in it, it will crash when PVP comes out due to the flooding of the market.

BGS imo has a high chance of rising. Cheapest godsword with the word "Bandos" in it. :)

I think anyone who decides to pk with a godsword is crazy. I would never charge out there with one, but that's just me.

It isnt risky in case I got high prayer,like 70 and if i use protect item prayer. I think there is no theoretical chance of me loosing it in case i dont heal (since people can use smite on me,but its only 1/4 of dmg done.I'll be dead long time before my prayer runs out,and prayer pots are alternative asweell). What do you think?

You dont have to worry about losing a GS to a ancient mace spec :lol: If you pay attention you'll never loose it, but if your not constantly staring at your prayer (especially if you're pieting) and someone smites you (even worse - uses the god spell that drains prayer with smite. Saradomin I think it is?) you may lose it, especially if you panic and eat food without a prayer potion dose. One of my friends PK'ed a BGS last week, so don't think it doesn't happen.

I bought a BGS not for the chance of rising, but instead for GWD to make money. It's too good.

gd I have 22 days membership left

i doubt it will rise much if at all because new weapons will come out with PvP which will be all the rage...even if the new weapons are not decisively better than the godswords they will still cause the godswords to fall in price due to their novelty the same way dfs has been tanking for the past few days since release of CB...imo i rather prefer the strength bonus of dfs seeing that items with str bonus have much higher prices (zerker VS warrior ring and fury)

 

 

 

but back on-topic, i wouldn't advise anyone to spend all their money on a single item as it will limit your ability to go around doing stuff in RS such as skilling or even boss hunting since you will require food and pots. also, in the event that you do die such as lag etc and you forget to turn on protect item fast enough or some glitch occurs (nothing is impossible, while it is rare for players to loose items due to jagex's fault this has happened before such as the fight pits incident and the notorious doomsday thingy) you will lose basically everything that you have which is something i wouldn't want to happen to me =)

Smite? I'm not a pker sorry, but from fun fights with my friends (in Poh) I was under the impression pkers used smite. Is that true?

Hellll no. They always release their biggest update at the end of the month. I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's ~80% of the time at the last 2 days, lol.

The pvp worlds update was listed first, and they are only bringing out two updates this week. Plus the other update, the halloween update, will surely be closer to the end of the month, been as halloween is on the 31st.

If you are all willy-nilly about the price of the lamest of the godswords you cant afford it. Dont get it.

Not really sure if they will go up too much. In BH you could run in, spec, then run out, but with the Wildy it may be harder to run out.

"You cant lose what you don't put in the middle", ever hear that one? It sounds to me like the OP has no business Pkin with a weapon so expensive (to him). If you can afford a few BGS then by all means, put one in the middle.

it went down,but now it rose 23k,i think it will go up some more now.

Yeah, I was in pits during that glitch... I was one of the people who would have lost everything lol, didn't die that round, saw 1 ags dude die though...
