Inuashakent
I keep hearing how profitable these guys are. Am I missing something, or are these just false assumptions? I would pass it for the latter, but I keep hearing it everywhere... They're Summoning xp is very good, although they only give Gold charms. But the cash drops... What am I missing, or am I not missing anything? [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
michel555555
kent got something wrong about summoning  they drop all 4 charms and besides from that they have weak defense, safe sports for hallying and durring my last task of them i got 4 teeth key halves,2 scimmis, and 150 rune arrows so they can be quite proffitable [spoiler=click you know you wanna]Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!

As a monster to train on, the money is good. Something to hunt for money? Hell no :-# They drop a good ammount of rune scimmys & rune arrows which can give some decent cash. If you're going to kill them in the waterfall area (the crowding may have changed) say goodbye to your sanity because it's packed full of low levels and pures. The money & exp obviously makes them a slayer task worth doing, but the money isn't extrodinary for higher levels - perhaps it might be decent for pures that are starting off, which is where you would be hearing such claims from. I've done many Fire giant tasks and I havn't got that many drops. And every single monster that drops a charm drops all 4 charms. Whenever I say "drops X charm" I mean that they drop it at a higher percentage. (Do the new monsters (Wraiths, ect) drop only 1 type of charm?) And thanks, Philip, I guess I was right then... and next time, try the Chaos tunnels. Combat familiars = FTW. Ned
I think you are probably getting reports from a string of very lucky players. I average 100k income per task (usually of 130-180), I don't think that is considered a great money making monster. I get most of the profit from Rune Arrow drops, ranarrs, the rest from half keys, misc drops, and rune scimitars, which don't happen as often. Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Johannas
On a task on ~100 I average around 40 gold charms, 6 green charms (mainly from wild dogs though) 10 crimson and about 3 blue. After the trip i usually leave with about 50 - 60k coin pile which is everything alched (fire battlestaffs, rune scimmys, mith shields etc...) Plus at least another 20k in runes normally. I'd say another 20k in arrows/herbs too... Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
Obtaurian
I almost always get a rune scimitar, a good number of rune arrows, some nice herbs, and a couple fire battlestaffs. It's pretty good for a Slayer task, but not if you're looking to camp there. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Italian5kamikaze
Its luck really. Some tasks I only make 50k and others I make 250+. One task I got 2 rune scim drops in a row then one four kills later, a rune sq, countless battle staves, two teeth halves and a full inventory of rannars and like 60 rune arrows or something. Then I have tasks where all I get are rune arrows, rannars and maybe a battle staff or too. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
