Few days ago...

 

 

 

I met this guy on runescape that was barely lvl 12. I chatted with him and found out that he was into the mining stuff, so he was like...rich. He showed me all his cash and I was like stunned.

 

 

 

Anyway a few days later he said he was bored of being rich and wanted to give me 100k. At that time his mining lvl was 60 something and smithing was around 55. I accepted(obviously) but I couldn't cause he's only lvl 12 so could only trade 5k. So he dropped it on the ground for me to pick. But nothing came. Stupid rs system. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Jagex has molestered drop-trading aswell due to RWT :thumbsup:

 

 

 

Plus you shouldn't be doing things like that anyways because it's against the rules of the game.

If he was level 12 you are presumably alot higher, why don't you just make money of your own?

I could go into detail, but I think it's summed up nicely when I say that the system doesn't fail. No, that system has a purpose. You failed for not knowing and secondly because you're whining over free stuff.

drop trading as a means to circumvent the trade restrictions

my guess is, is that like said before you havnt been playing long, so you didnt know about the rules, but yeah its illegal

you are indeed correct, but the fact is that many people are in a rush/dont care to read the term + agreemements and just scroll down and click accept

OT: i could whine at you for calling the Rs system stupid or how the trade update is ancient or how 100k isnt alot or how 60 smithing and mining arent the worlds greatest money makers or how the forum account you made just to get flamed is pointless or many, many over things.

 

 

 

Instead i'll bask in the knowledge that:

 

A) one day soon you'll quit, or

 

B) one day you'll look back and realise how [developmentally delayed]ed this whole little fiasco/thread is and feel a complete and utter idiot,

Locked for two reason's.

 

 

 

One it is against Jagex's rules to even attempt drop trading and can result in your account getting banned. Secondly your just going to get the same response over and over again [insults etc] .

 

 

 

I'm sorry that this happened but this has been in place for a long time now.
