Noted items - Do they count towards the PVP risk cost?

Featured Replies

It seems that you can risk any item and RuneScape calculates all of their worth when you die/kill somebody for their reward. Does anybody have an idea whether noted items work? If I had 75k worth of items that were noted would this count?

Hmm i would say that it would.

If it is in your invy it can be dropped and therefore will count towards your drop value.

So 1 itemers could take 75k worth of noted maple longbows for example and not have to risk anything proper? Is there any way to test it?

I am sure an inventory of un-noted maple longbows would work it's just working out whether noted items in general count and if the RuneScape code counts it. Something maybe only Jagex can answer?

I've heard of many people bringing "junk items" in their inventory (like rune javs that only take 1 space unnoted) to get their "value" up.

Haven't tried myself, but I believe them since it seems reasonable. This is not an unfair advantage, since they are still risking more items but handicapping themselves by not wearing better armor for the same cost.

I'm quite sure noted items are considered. Hence there being a rise in some form of RWT/Account sharing :|

If you have a whole bunch of noted things, don't you only keep one of the notes per item protected?

Why not just bring something worth 75k that will actually benefit you...

Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.

This is a major problem with it, you can just kill you friends over and over with junk.

That doesn't make killing people with money any better than killing people with junk, as it applies to both of them.

No point buying stuff on the GE to bulk your value (unless it's rising), as you may as well just carry the coins.

I still can't tell if this is a joke or whatever.. But are DFS' and DFH honestly drops from PvP?

I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.
