I want to get 99 Cooking after I reach my goal of 99 Fishing, and here's what I understand as the best cost/speed method.

 

 

 

Lobs to 90 ---> Monks to 94 ---> Sharks to 99.

 

 

 

But I was wondering if Swordfish made any noticable difference in the XP or GP return rate? I would think Swordfish sell better in F2P so I'm worried I'll have a harder time selling more cooked lobs than I would if I used Swordfish from 81 to 90 instead of just Lobs to 90.

 

 

 

Any advice or just speculation is appreciated, and for the record yes I have Cooking Gauntlets. =]

Well if you don't mind using a campfire the rogues den bank is the best place to do it by far. Cooking guild (if you can bank in it) is a close second.

The bank (it's actually one of those guy's that walk around banks) walks around right by a log fire, it's very close.

Correct, no relighting ever neccessary.

Lobsters to 99 loss: 5.3M

 

Swordfish to 99 loss: 4.5M

 

 

 

Let's see, less loss, more xp, I highly recommend changing those lobsters to swordfish, but the others fish look like good levels to cook them at.

You can easily figure it out by switching to swordies too. Just go to the calc, figure out how many lobs til 81, then write that number down, where it says experience, just type in the experience you would have at 81 (it tells you right next to the target: 81), then type in to 94, write that number of swordies down, then do the same with sharks.
