I was thinking to myself, what has been the most Xp achieved in each skill (that has been tracked on RuneMonkey), so I went to the 'All Time High Scores'.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was shocked with the results I saw. I mean come on, 10m Construction Xp in one single day (the most Xp is around 300k an hour) and 3m Defence Xp?! It's unbelievable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How could it possibly be achieved?! I am quite aware of the fastest xp in each skill (from what I've seen from loads of guides and players).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How do you think it was achieved? (Obliviously they no-lifed, but it wouldn't be possible to achieve that amount of Xp at the fastest rates most of us know. 300k/hr xp for Construction, 300k x 24 hours = 7.2m Xp, and someone managed to get 10m Xp).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, how much Xp have you ever achieved in one skill, or in total?

Staying logged in for a long period of time, and getting to know Runemonkey's update time and work around it. Someone got 10mil FARMING xp and 8 mil Cooking XP in one day not so long ago, too.

RS logs you out after 6 hours of being logged in. So log in 6 hours before RM updates, log out after the new "day" starts, you then have 30 hours instead of 24.

The Farming xp there is due to bug-abuse and I think that guy was banned - the real max is about 1,050,000 by Berrakus. (98-99 Farming in one day, acheivement of the month.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anywho, with Penguin Points contributing ~80k+ xp to a skill, Pest Control, Agility Tickets, Squirks and other things, people can save up xp from days work long before that which the xp is gained.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, due to the timings on Runemonkey, you can set your reset time to, say, 11pm, and then log off at 5pm, log back on, and no-life for 29 hours and 59 minutes and it'll be counted into one day's score. With enough money, people can pray with the best bones, construct with the best materials, make 1000s of the best blue charm familiars, and more. It's incredible yes, but at the same time very possible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: To clarify the time thing, Runemonkey will extract your data from the highscores at a time pre-set by you, so as long as you are playing (and thus highscores aren't updating) for 5 hours 59 minutes before your pre-set time, Runemonkey will extract your data from 6 hours ago, and you can instantly log out and have hundreds of thousands of xp in a time frame that Runemonkey thinks is just a few minutes.

Max I've got with herblore was 2.75m in a day, with crafting it was 1.2m I think. Could be worse.

Xeriana x managed to do 10 mil farming xp in one day, using Vinesweeper points. She broke 3 "runescape records", so she says, 18 mil xp in a day, 8 mil cooking and 10 mil farming.

I can beat the Smithing guy...if only I could smith 80k Addy Bars in a day! :mrgreen:

You'd have to have millions of points seeing as it's a 1:1 ratio but that is possible. However I know the name of that person and that particular instance was bug abuse. :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And Swordking, if Xeriana didn't put it on RuneMonkey I would like to see where the catagorical proof is of that acheivement. Well done to her though. ;) The previous RM record before the bug-abuser was 1,050,000, so that's where I took my number from.
