November 5, 200817 yr i've got a genius scheme for green power buti need to know something, what's the electromagnet with the highest efficiency/power balance? i won't tell you what my plan is because you will all steal it :ohnoes: [/paranoid]
November 5, 200817 yr I got proof that God exists but I won't show you because you'll steal it. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! (german ftw)I'm invulnerable to everything, except Lenin and Dragoonson. That's impossible. I love people.[/hide]
November 5, 200817 yr If you cant justify your choice of electromagnet yourself, I highly doubt this idea will take off. However, I believe electromagnets are only as powerful as you make them, based on number of coils and power used, so efficiency will be dependant on its use. Could be wrong, I was never very good at physics. But if you do post this little scheme of yours im sure theres plenty of people here who could steal plagiarise help.
November 5, 200817 yr There's no free (renewable) way of making energy. Many have tried with electro-magnets, but ultimately the energy required to receive yield is too high. There's no way to get a higher yield than source. ;)
November 5, 200817 yr Author well, maybe there is *dun dun dun* :^o only one way to find out eh
November 5, 200817 yr well, maybe there is *dun dun dun* :^o only one way to find out eh  I suppose you know something that several thousand scientists worldwide don't? There's only one current possible way to do so, and that's the LHC, or CERN. Hence all the R&D lately ;)
November 5, 200817 yr Author meh it seemed like a good idea (as only half of the motion actually required energy)
November 5, 200817 yr meh it seemed like a good idea (as only half of the motion actually required energy) Care to elaborate? Also, it wouldn't matter. The end result would still end up the same, lower yield than the required energy to power the change. If it could be done, all cars today would run on electromagnetism, with no cost besides maintenance and no fuel needed, as such. ;)
November 5, 200817 yr They say speed of light is the highest speed anything can move, but I think ideas move faster. I mean the internet. If you post a nice idea for example on this forum, the nice idea will spread from a house to another at an uncontrollable and unpredictable speed. If for example five persons read the idea at the same time in different locations of the world, what is the speed of that idea?

In order for that information to reach the computer, it's travelling at the speed of light. The light getting to your eyes from the computer screen again is the speed of light. Nothing travels faster (yet), at least nothing we can realistically comprehend ;)

Heh I just thought about how signals are sent in the nervous system. Welcome to Walmart we now sell a new variety of the nerve wires, made from real human nerves :D ! so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! November 5, 200817 yr meh it seemed like a good idea (as only half of the motion actually required energy) Is this a perpetual motion machine? Filesharer.org - Upload your mugshot to support The Pirate Bay!
November 5, 200817 yr Author meh it seemed like a good idea (as only half of the motion actually required energy) Is this a perpetual motion machine? yup, one that could actually work (at least, so far in my mind it has ;))
November 5, 200817 yr Newton stated in one of his laws (think it was his fifth, I'm not sure) that perpetual motion does not, and cannot exist. Nice try ;) People in OT eat glass O_o
November 5, 200817 yr A perpetual motion machine is impossible, any machine needs more energy to run than it can produce.
November 5, 200817 yr A perpetual motion machine is impossible, any machine needs more energy to run than it can produce. Hence there being no way to produce free power. Energy is converted (not made) therefore, there can only ever be the same return (providing there's no loss, which there always is)
November 5, 200817 yr only half of the motion uses 'power', the other half is gravity There's gravitational potential energy. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! November 5, 200817 yr Author only half of the motion uses 'power', the other half is gravity There's gravitational potential energy. huh? i'm only going to high school, don't know that much, explain please?
November 5, 200817 yr only half of the motion uses 'power', the other half is gravity There's gravitational potential energy. huh? i'm only going to high school, don't know that much, explain please? Well in our Primary 5 textbooks...There are these energies: Gravitational Potential(the higher you are,the more you have.) Kinetic Electric Light Heat Elastic Potential(like in a rubber band) And Chemical Potential(food, water, chemical stuff generally) ,unless I missed something. So most things I can think of start as potential energy, and are then translated into other types. For example, water wheel?Gravitational Potential(water high up)>Kinetic>Kinetic again, but meh>Electric. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! November 5, 200817 yr only half of the motion uses 'power', the other half is gravity There's gravitational potential energy. huh? i'm only going to high school, don't know that much, explain please? Kinda says it all. (Time for a physics lesson ;)) Potential energy: Potential energy can be thought of as energy stored within a physical system. It is called potential energy because it has the potential to be converted into other forms of energy, such as kinetic energy, and to do work in the process.
