i've got a genius scheme for green power buti need to know something, what's the electromagnet with the highest efficiency/power balance?

If you cant justify your choice of electromagnet yourself, I highly doubt this idea will take off.

 

However, I believe electromagnets are only as powerful as you make them, based on number of coils and power used, so efficiency will be dependant on its use. Could be wrong, I was never very good at physics.

 

But if you do post this little scheme of yours im sure theres plenty of people here who could steal plagiarise help.

There's no free (renewable) way of making energy. Many have tried with electro-magnets, but ultimately the energy required to receive yield is too high. There's no way to get a higher yield than source. ;)

There's only one current possible way to do so, and that's the LHC, or CERN. Hence all the R&D lately ;)

Care to elaborate? Also, it wouldn't matter. The end result would still end up the same, lower yield than the required energy to power the change.

 

If it could be done, all cars today would run on electromagnetism, with no cost besides maintenance and no fuel needed, as such. ;)

Slower than the speed of light. In order for that information to reach the computer, it's travelling at the speed of light. The light getting to your eyes from the computer screen again is the speed of light. Nothing travels faster (yet), at least nothing we can realistically comprehend ;)

^^ What he said ^^ The closest thing is probably the Large Hadron Collider under Switzerland (The Black Hole Machine :|) and the protons travel at 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% the speed of light (Or close to that :P)

Not really.Gravity is a force,and Gravitational Potential Energy is of course,and energy.There's still energy being used here,its just not as apparent.
