I absolutely hate people (read: mostly lower lvls) who (1 are only there for the free mage xp, and leave when its your turn to hunt them, (2 extremely low lvled players who are constantly begging for their opponents to "pl0x let m3 win teh g4m3!", and (3 getting called a 'noob', 'loser', 'runner', etc for not just standing in the middle and waiting to die.

Only there for 'free mage XP'? Easy tokens for you. Low level opponents begging you to let them win? Ignore -> Ice barrage. Calling you a noob for being better then you at the game? Ignore. It takes 2 clicks. :P

I have seen more annoying players before: one of the players use house-hugging and running techniques to avoid being hunted by me, but then he calls me noob just because I use the same tactics against him when it was his turn to hunt. A hypocrite

FoG is horrible for the amount immature players that act like such little brats,

 

 

 

As far as players who let you win go, its a little boring but its free tokens at the end of the day.

It was emphasis on the fact that you can easily beat low level players. You can beat them with a rune scimmy or whatever; the point is, they are low level and can be easily beat. Ignore works as well in FTP as PTP.

Because houses are overkill. They make hunting far too easy. Plus, FoG is meant to replace the wildy and NOTHING in the wildy is ANYTHING like them

If they are low level enough, just stand in the center and enjoy the easy charges. Then, when it's your turn, use the tele-orb, bind, then slice 'n' dice(preferably with a scimmy)!

I hate those people too, especially people 1 or 2 levels lower that tell me im a noob for not standing in the middle when they hunt me and then run when i hunt them. Ignoring is only the really way to go.

This is why I love that mini game. You can own as many noobs as you want if you're strong and strategic enough. :D

I sometimes go there to farm magic XP and I don't see complaints because everyone just stands there getting 5000 tokens and they all seem rather happy :D

This is why they should remove EXP like SC.

 

 

 

Expecially when a low lvl does it, then leaves. You get 1 token for like 10 min of bore.

1. Who cares, if they can get incredibly slow mage xp all they want, and i end up with more tokens anyhow.

 

 

 

2. Ignore them, or better yet say you will let them live. Stand there for a few seconds letting them live and then burst and spec them out =D.

 

 

 

3. Now 3, well the best thing you can do is ignore them.

It's boring to watch someone cast Wind Strikes at you for five minutes.

You don't go disconnect while in combat, i browse the forums while I'm at it.

fist of guthix is awesome. if some one just quits because they think you're too powreful, then don't make a big deal out of it. at least you didn't lose eh?

My favorite mini game. All low levels i ever fight i let them find me in the fist. Then i do this.

 

 

 

1)unequipt my rock thing

 

2)equipt my maple bow

 

3)turn on eagle eye

 

4)range them until they are owned

 

5)repeat steps 1-4 until you have desired amounts of charges.

 

 

 

And with any high levels you may face DO NOT run to center and try to tank. Everyone there tanking is noob. i can do a solid tank game and get maybe 1k-1.5k charges. While if I do my idea, ( a little house hugging but farther out getting 15 charges per) i am not spoted for at least 30-120 seconds. And then and only then when you are about to die run to center turn on protect prayers and tank.

Even at that point you could try some annoying tactics like house circling and losing them in the houses. I can difficult to tank at the center effectively when your defence level is severely reduced unless you're fighting a very low level.

 

 

 

And what's wrong with free mage xp? Sure it's boring to watch yourself being splashed for an eternity, but then again, WCing, fishing, mining, (BTW, nothing personal to all of those who love these skills) and a whole bunch of other activities in RS aren't that riveting either. Just turn on some music and play a rush game against a professional Starcraft player and that match will just fly by :lol:
