Different.

Well, we're all a little different on these forums, as I've noticed. But how many of us really want to be different?

Not as much as I am. Being different is good but there's a limit that I feel I'm way, way past.

You honestly bumped this to make another proclamation of your glorious sexuality and how much you get it on with dolphins? Whatever. Rainbow power or something.

Nah, it was bumped by some dude from 4chan. You know, the guys that Dizzle was ranting about a while back.

And Killer, there are many other people out there like you. Maybe none here, but they exist...

What's the point of striving to be different? By doing that, you're becoming like every other teenager, therefore making you the same. When did being yourself become so complicated :x .

The majority of teens who strive for it are completely unsuccessful though. Like the ones that say "lol wut :twss: have a cookie im random Inyuasha".

And let me guess, no one on here could ever understand?

We all know in what ways he's different. Though assuming you're so different that no one in the world comes close is kinda normal.

It just seemed like the stereotypical teenage attitude of "I'm so unique, no body understands me", which irritated me.

Just moved to a new city 5 months ago.

Old city, everyone was an [wagon]. I didn't even know what I was doing wrong, I thought I was just some gamer nerd.

Now, in this city, people aren't trying to hit me down. Well, some are still assy in this city, but less assy than the old ones. I'm still at the bottom of the food chain, but I enjoy it. I could truthfully say I'm "popular", seeing as popularity is determined by how much people like you. I'm just not in most typical views of popularity. Hell, I did the math, counted people in he school, and counted m friends. 32% of the school thinks I'm an ok guy.

I just can't stand being around the same person for more than an hour.

I do everything a stereotypical geek/nerd does. Minus the math, and grades stuff. I slack that. I play video games most of the time, play MTG, endless internet surfing, pokemon, work on flash, basically everything you can picture a "geek" doing.

I love being myself.

Why the hell not? Not particularly my intention but I don't care what you think.

Pffff... I scoff at that as much as the next guy. Nobody understands me though, but that's because I don't let them (in real life not letting them know my secret, or on the internet not letting them know my real life), not because of any problem with the world. Each side of me has a place, and it helps keep me somewhat sane.

But screw the stereotypical emo attitude. No thanks.

Everyone cares what people think to some extent, everyone's different in their own way.

/thread.

I heard a rumor that old people don't care what others think. I can't confirm this with you for about another 50 years, but I'll let you know what my conclusion is.

You obviously haven't treid hard enough; you can make a triangle out of two obtuse angles. :P

unless were doing something sneaky like going around the back of the paper it isnt possible

if the initial angle starts on the baseline and goes 91 degrees (one degree left of vertical) then the second angle must be less then 90 degrees to point the third line back toward the initial point.

You're looking at it too literally. Hold on, I'll draw a picture.

You could interpret his wording as "I attempt to make a triangle using two obtuse angles." The sum of the degrees adds up to be 180 and we used two obtuse angles. I don't think that's what he's implying but..

Think different.

That angle is not obtuse within the triangle. Don't twist words.

Don't be a hardass, that was clever.

As clever as "there are three words in the English language the end in gry. 2 are angry and hungry." You know the rest.

He never further explained the word "with;" it's not twisting anything.

I agree with you. Being different is what makes this world great. It's why I don't like the mindless conformists. I like the unique, the estranged, the alienated...the INTERESTING. I could claim I'm different, and I am in my own individualistic way. Most people are.

As for love as a science? and interesting idea, but could it really work? Love is a different feeling for everyone.
