November 22, 200817 yr Yeah i thought it was great they're doing something for charity - after all, they're a multi million pound business so they must have some spare cash ...Then i saw the charity :wall: :wall: :wall: I know they're trying to do something good, but it seems rather selfish as the money they put in the organisation will just go straight towards benefiting them. To be honest i'd rather my money go to starving children in Africa. This sums up my opinions.
November 22, 200817 yr I know I won't be entering in the auction or buying a calendar (or anything else from the Jagex store; sorry, but I'm just not that into this game right now), but I do have some questions for the author of the book (they're also posted on the RSOF thread): What is your name? What is your quest? What is your favorite color? What movie are the above questions from and why weren't there more references to said movie in your book? NOTE: I have not read the book, but I doubt there were any references to the above-mentioned movie in it and just had to ask. EDIT: I noticed a few typos. > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

November 22, 200817 yr Hmm, while Jagex could have chosen better charities, donating it to a charity that: Aims to prevent Child sexual abuse content hosted worldwide and criminally obscene and incitement to racial hatred content hosted in the UK Isn't all bad. Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper.
November 22, 200817 yr oh boy jagex what are you getting yourself into, i dont idolise anyone is my problem i've seen football players that teams i support and i didnt ask for an autograph so the chances of me wasting my student loan on a book ill never read are low :P happy bidding!
November 22, 200817 yr Might buy the Calender for my brother :D [-- DYNAMIC SIGNATURES FOR RUNESCAPE 3 & OLDSCHOOL 2007 RUNESCAPE --]
November 22, 200817 yr I'd really rather just donate directly for a charity instead of buying a book I never cared for buying anyway. And no offence to Mr Gower if he should happen to read this but I never found adding a signature to anything would make me more likely to buy it. As for the calendar, having "never before seen" concept art isn't something that will make me fall off my chair, it's not like I ever gave the pictures on my calendars a second look. Personally I'd love to see Jagex contributing to a kind charity like a "Help a Noob Foundation" where the aim is to educate the morons of online games to become civil people who are neither rude no ignorant. Alas, that would be like trying to take pee out of a pool... With your hands!! Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.

I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a guess at the movie, but, if it is it's wrong. The movie's Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail. :XD: > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

November 22, 200817 yr I think if the money went to kids in Africa, it's all fine and dandy, but you never see the money go anywhere. Take 40hr famine for examine, only 5 - 10% of the money actually goes to the kids, what's the point in that? That's like making a church and taking nearly all the profits to benefit your lifestyle, not the church. I also remember the fact that *apparently* they've donated more than 400M to them within the last 10 years. Where has it all gone? All I see is a couple schools they've given them. It makes me angry TBH and I don't support 40hr famine anymore as they don't give them the majority of the donations. I'd rather give the money to the "make a wish" foundation where the people have got internal illnesses and only have a short time left to live - and want to live their dream... it's also shown on many programs such as the apprentice, oprah's big give and extreme makeover: household edition, just to name a few.
