I'm seriously really bored. I just have nothing to do in F2P. I know I should get members, and I will in the future,(hopefully soon) but what can I do? Skilling is getting boring, I've done all the F2P quests, I've done PvP waaaay too much(without success), I hate Fist of Guthix, I finished the Lumbridge/Draynor achievement diary, I've gone everywhere I can think of, explored the whole wildy, failed at Bounty Hunter, ran around in random event and holiday stuff, and now I'm really just out of ideas. Help please? Oh yeah, just in case you need them for any reason, heres my stats: combat level-72, attack-60, strength-62, defense-53, range-25, prayer-38, magic 47, runecrafting-34, hitpoints 59, crafting 38, mining 60, smithing-48, fishing-58, cooking-58, firemaking-50, woodcutting-75.

Maybe train your stats up for members, 70 attack and defense for barrows, 66 magic for the magic guild, 130 attack and strength levels for warriors guild, 68 fishing for fishing guild, 40 crafting for crafting guild(its in f2p), ??50 smithing?? for the smithing guild, ext

i experienced this and i believe other f2pers have as well. This disease is known as f2p boredom.

 

 

 

I. Maybe its because u r doing one thing too often?

 

 

 

1) switch between activities ~ mining straight to 99 cant be done. its just too hard. switch ur activities.

 

 

 

2) do some fun games ~ simply go to duel arena, fog, or any other f2p fun activity and just have fun! fog is kind of equal and to do good all u need is at least 59 magic. others will just need some skill raising ;)

 

 

 

II. Maybe its because you need motivation?

 

 

 

1) Get friends on runescape and buddies ~ make sure they r pretty active and that u can talk to wear off the boredom. These friends must be good ones though. someone that wont bs u on pvp worlds or report u. meet them up ingame when u feel bored. whether it be at parties or just skilling together

 

 

 

2) join a clan ~ make sure it is fairly active and another way to make new friends and simply to have more fun. * note that clans can sometimes make u become more active so if u think u wont be healthy joining one then dont do it.* ud be surprised. dont let a clan ruin ur social or rl life by forcing u to be active.

 

 

 

3) Make goals ~ probably the best way to have motivation. make goals on rs for urself and try to accomplish urself. whether it be a 99 or just level 60 or so. or a santa or a phat. it doesnt matter. as long as it gives u motivation. Im not the type that can simply have a goal in my mind and do it. i usually tend to drift away and not do it. or just lose motivation. So i am actually planning to write these goals in writing and keep track of them. just write on piece of paper or make a blog on these forums soon like i might do 8-)

 

 

 

III. Lack of Fun

 

 

 

1) Get members ~ if u r getting bored of doing the same skill and want more content then get members and it would be loads more fun. simply because u get more everything. more skills/money/content! I dont have members because im a f2p beast and because i dont play that much that i need to be paying money

 

 

 

2) Quit ~ if u r not having fun then why on earth r u playing. dont be miserable. just quit runescape and dont play. play another video game, do sports, just chill with friends. etc. u dont need much advice here.

I have to agree with the P2P suggestions. After 6 LONG freaking years of strict F2P, P2P is a godsend :thumbsup:

Either get members, or quit. No need to be bored of a game.

P2p. Or fog, I recomend fog. Course you might notice I'm kind of a mini game addict enthusiest. If neither of those appeal, leave; don't hang on to a game if you don't enjoy it.

Train mage and range. No offense, but your stats in those to areas are really low ... You may consider also training up attack and strength to be a good PKer. PKing is enjoyable anyhow.

Lol, I know my range is super low. I trained it like 10 levels like 2 weeks ago then got bored. Oh yeah, I am pretty sure I'm gonna get members soon, but I don't want to just stop playing till then. Gtg now, might post tomorrow. Oh yeah, about clan wars, can someone please explain what the heck the update from a few months ago was about? Is it always dangerous? Last time I played clan wars you just keep your stuff, and I'm afraid to lose my rune armor. :ohnoes:
