I own all of the current gen consoles, so i need your help to pick out worthwhile games, this isn't a joke, i'll tell you how i came to own all three consoles.

 

 

 

 

 

Mom bought me a psp for my birthday

 

I saved up money and bought a wii

 

Then my dad gave me a ds that his coworker gave to him

 

my aunts sent me an xbox 360 and a ps3 each for my birthday.

 

I am a proud ps2 owner since launch day btw

 

 

 

 

 

I will take the games you guys list and put them on a list of my own from must-haves to maybes since i can't buy every single game at once, but it would be nice to know my options.

Also please no comments like sell some game systems, or why do you want a crappy ps3/wii when you have an xbox 360.

PSP - 1 of the only consoles I haven't got :P

 

Wii - Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess

 

DS - Mario Kart DS, Call Of Duty 4, Zelda Phantom Hourglass (Some people like, some don't), Worms Open Warfare (Lol my fav game on DS so easily awesome :P)

Psp=Daxter Greatest Hits, Final Fantasy VII:Crisis Core, Lego Star Wars II original trilogy(I would actually rather play this in one of the consoles, but w/e), Starwars Battlefront, MediEvil: Resurrection(Great game) God Of War: Chains of Olympus, Untold Legends(Original) and Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the blade, both excellent RPG's. Ratchet and Clank:Size Matters.

 

 

 

For Psp there are tons of other great games, but these are the one's I've enjoyed the most, emphasis on Untold Legends.

 

 

 

Wii=The usual, SSBB, Twilight Princess, ect.

 

 

 

Ps3=Uncharted:Drakes Fortune, Resistance 1,2

 

 

 

Xbox 360: Cod5, Cod4, Oarnge Box, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Fable II, GoW 1&2, Left 4 Dead, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway(Excellent AI command game), Battlefield Bad Company, Rainbow 6 Vegas II, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Mabye Assassins Creed. It depends. (You'll notice that most of these games are also for ps3, I prefer the versions on the 360, but that's just me)

 

 

 

 

 

DS=Pokemon Diamond/Silver, Super Mario 64(DS version) Mario Kart DS

Anyways, I personally liked the game Mirror's Edge. It's on a few different consoles.

360: Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed (these are all good rentals)

with the xbox 360 AND ps3 im kind of in a bind, my mom won't let me buy m-rated games, so that excludes most fps

What about M rated games for ps3? That not only exudes Good FPS's...but alot of good games period -.-

She's a good parent, she knows what the esrb is for and i won't try to cross her by even asking her to buy me a game like cod5 or fable 2, because i know that is the day she throw my xbox 360 out of the window.She's the reason i don't have an xbox anymore (i asked for cod3 and after she threw it outside, she went out and bought the game anyway knowing that i couldn't play it.)

I don't want to undermine your opinion buddy....but throwing an xbox out the window because your son asked for an M Rated, then going and BUYING the game and rubbing it in his face knowing you can't play it doesn't seem very nice. :|

You could get some DS games, I think Mortal Kombat is the only M game that would be worth more then $7 on that system ;) These are some of my preferred ones:

 

- Chrono Trigger

 

- Mario Kart DS

 

- The World Ends With You

 

- Professor Layton and the Curious Village

 

I'd also recommend Rock Band 2 for 360 (not PS2/3), it's an amazing game if your into that kind of thing.

 

I also have a Wii, here are some good ones:

 

- Mario Kart Wii

 

- Super Smash Bros. Brawl

 

- James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace

 

Those are ones I'm playing right now and enjoying, James Bond is probably better on the 360 or PS3 but I only have it for Wii.

If your PSP isn't the new 3000 version, you could get it cracked in a way so that you can download whatever PSP game, store it onto your memory card and play it without paying a cent.

That's right, listen to the man. Don't ever, EVER, EVER do things that are far easier and cheaper to do.

I didn't see anyone mention these but there aren't many ps3 owners here. Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet are two I would recommend from my own collection. Resistance 1 is kinda dated so if you do get that, get it first other wise you may not finish it once you play some of the better titles. I'm saying that from personal experience. Otherwise I think Bloodredsword did a good job covering a lot of good titles. And if your interested in a smash brothers type game for the DS, Jump Ultimate Star a JP import. I'm currently selling my copy on amazon as I got rid of my DS do to lack of usage but a really fun game.

All very true, they all did very well review wise. When it comes to racing games I'm more of a Forza, and Grand Turismo guy myself.
