December 18, 200817 yr I saw this thread a week or two ago, and though "aww forget about this there is going to be no snow, so not point taking photographs" Then i saw other people's responses and then decided i was not going to let a not-so-white christmas deter me from entering I tried to capture as much christmas essense as i could, however during the day this was hard as it just looked like any other day. All these images were taken with my Nikon D70. I narrowed it down to 4 images in the end, which i will post here. (Warning - LARGE images) [hide=] These images are both unedited but i don't want to enter them[/hide] Please enter these though, they both look similar but they are not the same - I promise!! I have to agree myself, although i thought my images were quite "wintery" in a way. Shame my house puts no decorations up, otherwise i might have nice sparkly macro shots. I will try and take some more if i can get time, but i'm doing alot of overtime over christmas so might not have time. December 25, 200817 yr Too much work over the last couple of days to take photos... i'm so tired now! Hope everyone had a good day today - thought it would be a shame to not upload any christmassy pictures at all. Well anyway - these are far from my best, and my skills on photoshop are not good enough to make a photo look any better, so all these are unedited. First up these pics where just messing about with my tree (which was thrown together at 10pm on the 22nd) Was just experimenting with different shutter speeds and depth of field but they would be better if i could have found my tripod :XD: ALL IMAGES ARE LARGE. [hide=]1. 2. [/hide] [hide=]3. 4. [/hide] I would like to see if anyone could 'touch up' number 3 on photoshop to take those green bits of light, and sort out the general picture. And think i'm going to have to enter number 3 as my unedited entry in replacement for my 'not-so-christmassy' photo i posted a couple of days back.
