You can't afk chins, like.....at all. If you want maximum exp per hour and per chin then you have to constantly reposition yourself and the monkeys, and always make sure your prayer is potted.

So I diverted my attention from 99 ranged again. Surprise Surprise. I decided to woodcut. I'll get 95 Firemaking tomorrow to even them both out as usual, and then I am forcing myself to get at LEAST 1 more ranged level before I allow myself to do ANYTHING else. lol.

 

 

 

Got 95 Firemaking to match my 95 Woodcutting I just got the previous day. Now I am forcing myself to train this godforsaken ranged I hate so much. lol.

 

 

 

P.S. As a sidenote, my stats are looking beautifully more even now that firemaking and woodcutting are 95. Weird. =-p

Ok, ok...so I lied. Here's the deal. I sold all my Red Chinchompas because they have reached a peak and I wanted to sell at max so I could buy back later when they go down a lot in order to save a few mill. So in this time, I have invested about 16,000,000 gp into merchanting (won't say what for my own sake) and I bought 100 Snapdragon and 80 Marigold Seeds. I will plant all of those seeds and in between harvests I will raise Fishing by fishing for monks.

 

 

 

Today I managed 5 herb runs (25 Snap and 20 Marigold Seeds) and this is my total spoils for the day:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So technically speaking, with supercompost and teleport runes included, each snapdragon seed cost me 52,000 gp. Knowing this, the total amount of profit I made today between farming and fishing was around 1,900,000 gp give or take about 100,000. Not too bad. :)

 

 

 

(Oh and if you've noticed, yes, I had very nice herb runs. Average was 8.08 Snapdragon herbs per seed.)

In total I made 6.2m off the whips and zamorak page alone, not including the other 250k in other abyssal demon drops.

 

 

 

Also, yesterday I made 2.5m off a level 3 clue from abyssal demons and then 2m off an Amulet of Ranging I got from Aquanites.

 

 

 

So for two days of monster killing I have made an extra 11M. 5.5M per day. I would say not bad for very casual playing. Not bad at all. lol.

 

 

 

I think I am going to save up for a Dragonfire Shield to finish off my outfit. Full dragon + new whip + sayer cape + DFS = win.

Ok...so some people have asked a while back for me to post my bank, but for the reason of the fact that all of my money ALWAYS goes into skilling, I usually never have more than 15-20m in bank worth.

 

 

 

However, lately, I've been wanting to save up cash, for whatever reason. This is very unlike me. I've invested over 500M now into my skills instead of buying expensive armors, but now I feel like I want to save up something.

 

 

 

So literally a week ago I started money-making. I had about 19M in bank worth. A week later, after various whip drops, fishing, farming snapdragons and thieving seeds, I stand at this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

So I've made 27M in one week. I would say this is not very shabby at all. Especially since I've only been able to play maybe 1-2 hours a day.

 

 

 

Right now I'm saving that cash pile up to buy a Dragonfire Shield. I think it will not only be a good investment but it will also look absolutely amazing with my full dragon, slayer cape and updated whip.

 

 

 

Finally completed my goal of getting Full Dragon + Fury + Whip + Dragonfire Shield. :)

I'm guessing it will take about a month and I should make around 25-30M profit depending on how luck goes and if snapdragons are still stable by then. Either way I'll profit, and I should get 94 Farming from it as well. Will leave me with around 75-80M cash afterwards, which I don't know what I will do with. lol.

 

 

 

EDIT - I just updated the drops section of my blog with all the whip drops and clue rewards I have recieved up till now. I was surprised to find out I'm currently up to 32 whips. I thought I was in the 20s still. =-p

Actually, Snapdragons currently have a higher yield rate than ranarr. Snapdragon average yield rate is around 8 per seed while ranarr is about 6.5 per seed. On top of this, Snapdragons give more farming experience than Ranarr do. :)

Ok, so since snapdragon seeds epically failed on me by dropping in price slightly (I farmed 100 of them and only made 500k of the profit I would have made without them dropping) I decided to invest my cashpile of 56M into 99 Farming. I've been lusting after this 99 for a while but never really had the funds or the balls to REALLY go after it. Now I am.

 

 

 

I ended up buying 2,400 Watermelon Seed, 100 Magic Seeds, 100 Palm Tree Seeds, 400 Torstol Seeds and 20 Calquat Seeds. With this I bought enough Supercompost to get me through what I need.

 

 

 

This is how I plan on getting 99 Farming, as simply ploughing through these seeds I have bought will not be enough:

 

 

 

I will do the tree seeds like normal. Pay for the farmers to watch them and when they are done I will harvest their yield to minimise loss per seed. This means on average I should get about 9 Coconuts per Palm Tree Seed (900 Coconuts) and anywhere from 20-50k gp back on each Magic Tree. In total, off my trees I should make back around 3-7M gp. Not much considering how much I spent on them, but this is the price you pay for fast leveling.

 

 

 

Now, I am also doing Watermelon and Torstol Seeds. These are where the money back will come in more. For each Torstol Seed I should make back an average of about 16,000 gp. This means for 400 Torstol seeds I should expect about 6.4M back. Then, for each 24 Watermelon seeds I intend to create 60 Supercompost buckets with watermelon fruits I harvest. This means for every 24 seeds I will make back about 40,000 gp in supercompost, or 4M for 2,400 seeds. This doesn't include leftover watermelon fruits, which should sell at around 150 gp each.

 

 

 

In total, for the first "run-through" of seeds I plan to make back near 15-20M gp. Most likely I will then use that strictly to buy more torstol and watermelon seeds. Once 99 farming is achieved, I will most definitely be completely out of cash, but I will have yet another 99 goal completed.

 

 

 

If anyone decides to tell me that I'm doing something unefficiently, by all means, say it...but I'm sticking to this plan. =-p

The levels and exp are going by pretty quickly. I manage to check 10 Magic and 5 Palm Trees per day, on top of anywhere from 4-8 Torstol/Watermelon runs, depending on how much I feel like logging on that day. So in total I'm pulling in about 250,000 - 310,000 experience per day. Very, very nice, if you ask me. =-p

That one took me 4 days to get, and I've been slacking MAJORLY. I could have gotten it last night had I been doing more allotment runs and had I not missed checking my magic trees before I went to bed. Real life is intervening, so naturally I'm not going to check my trees and replant them if I have things to do. Regardless, 3 days and one run this morning for 900k exp is not too shabby at all. I'm still averaging a minimum of 250k exp per day, so as long as that keeps up, 99 is very close. Maybe about 2 1/2 weeks. :)

 

 

 

I'm also about 75k from 96 Woodcutting but I have company coming over, so no 96 wc for me until late late tonight.

I'm kind of hating the woodcutting/firemaking training alongside Farming, but they all are ridiculously closer to 99 than my other skills, and once they're done, they're done so I'll never have to touch them again. I will probably get 99 Farming before wc and fm at this rate, however.
