Sand_Hill
Hey good ol' tip.it, I've been trying to find something fun to do in RS for a while now, and I can't seem to find anything to hold my attention fo more than a few days. Am I completely ADD, or what? XD Seriously, though, if you have any suggestions as to what I could do with these stats: Unlocked: Ancient Magics Lunar Magics 80 qp  12m geepees Thanks! I am just wondering whether or not to give up, since I can't seem to get very far. Thanks! Now known as Expl0de.My Defense Pure GuidePlease don't post on forums whilst inebriated. aceripper
Have an EXP race with a friend lol, Its what ive been doing for the past few weeks, and training at Avianses and Dust Devils has never been so much fun >_
Troacctid
Do more quests. 80 qp is way too low. Shoot for at least enough quest points to do Legends and Swan Song and RFD. There are a lot of features of the game you don't have access to because you haven't done enough questing! I recommend also putting a little work into your agility and farming, since they're pretty low. 36 farming means you can already plant ranarrs and make some spectacular profit, and you can move onto toadflax soon so you can buy more seeds at a time. Oh, and you should train your slayer higher. It'll fuel your summoning, which currently is pathetically low and needs a lot of leveling. Summoning is one of the most useful skills and you should shoot for at least 52 for a terrorbird. Totally agree 100%, Slayer is a fun skill that allows you to develop another fun skill, also, when training summoning, to help you along a bit, try the penguin hunting every week.. Its a good laugh watching loads of TIFers running about looking for penguins! Plus if you find them all, some mega free exp =]

I always wanted that Zamorak raptor :) Can you suggest a good setup? I was thinking either dharock's or guthan's with a whip; can't decide. aceripper
Guthans is always a nice set to have with you untill you get a bunyip, however I wouldnt recommend training in it, and Dharoks can be too slow/unpredictable.. I would stick with the tried and tested whip/d scim, and defender/obby shield set up, with the best armor you can wear/afford.. Also, as i started life out as a pure, I trained my slayer soley with range, thats always an option if you fancy a change and some range exp.. Just use a decent compromise between defence and range bonus, use safespots, and take an invent of monks (cheap and very effective)
deathdrow
Can you suggest a good setup? I was thinking either dharock's or guthan's with a whip; can't decide. dont use dharocks on slayer. always bring super sets/pure sets depending on if what your fighting can hit high. guthans is nice to have. wear the legs/body and switch the helm with black mask/whip. i always bring alching runes when i train my slayer. try to get a defender, that and a whip are essential for slayer. do smoking kills for slayer points. and get a black mask/slayer helm. get a combat bracelet, good attack/strength bonuses, and tells you how many of what monster your task is every tenth you kill. mister_moocky
Get all combat stats to 80, and 55 slayer. Then play minigames. LOTS of minigames. quit
Inuashakent
Get a RUNE DEFENDER AND A WHIP and a Slayer helm. Capped so you know how important they are. They are not replaced by a D scim or an Obby shield, lol. The SS could replace it possibly, but keep in mind it is weaker and slower, with no real benefit. For the rest, it is quite basic. Get a Barrows top and bottom, (Guthan/Dharok/Torag top and Verac's skirt) and D boots, Glory, etc. You really don't need Guthans, it's an overkill most of the time if you are low on money. You're better off running to the bank than selling your whole bank for Guthans. 12M GP is quite low, so don't bother with spec weapons, just keep using that DDS along with SUPER SETS. For which familiar to you, choose which one seems to fit you best. Remember, Combat familiars boosts your xp significantly, so Bunyip is not a end-all familiar for training. And if you're bored, take a break. Good luck Slaying and Summoning... [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
Johannas
Round all your levels up to the nearest 0 That should be fun, and rewarding Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
dorcus1
Minigames. I've had fun with fist of guthix (perhaps too much), and collected all the pest control armors (and then some). I haven't really played castlewars. There's also the runecrafting minigame, which is decent fun, and stealing creation which I haven't tried yet. Then again, let yourself wander for a few days. Go do whatever you feel like doing. Runescape is supposed to be a game, not a chore. Take a one-month break (popping back in for x-mas) and then come back. If all else fails, put on some music, put your brain on autopilot, and go play pest control. It's exciting and random enough so that you can't really get bored, but it's a safe minigame that's quite repetitive, so you don't have to think so hard. You'll also have the company of miserable people who're pushing themselves like crazy to get full void. It's the perfect combination to keep you playing for days (even though you'll be playing in a zombie-like trance). Edit: Guthans set is only 4M now. That and a whip and obby cape and dboots and regen bracelet should only set you back 7.5M total. Fury (2M) is borderline, although I'd say you don't have enough money for it. Slay on! You can also try to get all skills ranked... 99 Woodcutting | 99 Constitution | 99 PrayerScapin since July 05'
ultimatballr
I think I will go the opposite way with everything I have heard. I say take a break, the longer the better. If you have some type of other game you enjoy playing, maybe a console then do that. It will take your mind off of RS and when you decide to come back and play, IF you do, and you have unfinished goals they may seem more "valuable" for you to complete now. Some are saying, "why are you suggesting playing a game, get outside".. Okay well does anyone really spend 100% of their time outside anymore? Even 50%? Everyone doesn't have the 400 friends you have  and there is not ALWAYS something to do out of the house with others. And if you were to go out by yourself, have you ever actually stood outside by yourself? It gets rather boring rather quickly (I know I am an only child) Doing anything by yourself is as boring as watching paint dry or wallpaper fall of a wall... its just not enjoyable. Apparently, my signature was to big.

If you are fed up with RS (I have been there many times), then quit for 2,3,6,12, months. Chances are when you come back there'll have been some massive update that you enjoy. Like when I took a break and they updated it with God Wars. :
