December 14, 200817 yr This would be for all sports and might encourage more sport topics. What do you think? I said sticky and meant sub-forum sorry everyone Pureprayer, you're awesome.
December 14, 200817 yr No, I don't think it's needed as... [*:14fmuh4e] There are too many stickies already [*:14fmuh4e] Megathreads are fine [*:14fmuh4e] Not every sport would probably be able to be discussed because it would be confusing

December 14, 200817 yr There aren't really enough sports threads to warrant a new sub-forum, in my opinion.
December 14, 200817 yr Here is the last topic started about Sports and what to do with it: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=764870 It should help answer some things. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

December 15, 200817 yr There aren't really enough sports threads to warrant a new sub-forum, in my opinion. Oh, he meant a sub-forum? I thought he meant a sticky. No, as the title says he meant a sports sticky.

December 15, 200817 yr To be honest I can't blame you, there have been so many suggestions of that. :|
December 16, 200817 yr Not a great idea I think. I can just see it now, turning into one big argument about which sport is better. It's fine the way it is just now.
December 17, 200817 yr [*] Megathreads are fine Dont really agree with that. Megathreads are pretty confusing and if it's the only place you can discuss a broad subject such as sport, discussion would be disorganised. There may also be many reposts etc. And OT: Dont really care either way. It'd be a nice addition for people to discuss fav. teams and predictions but that's just my view. Other side is that it'll be more cluttered.

There may also be many reposts etc. I think he's talking about Megathreads like this one. They are not the "only places" where you can discuss sports. Instead, they are formed naturally because sport threads are uncommon. I simply don't see the need to make more sub-forums. :| This signature is intentionally left blank.
December 17, 200817 yr Author Alright it was worth a shot... I was hoping it would encourage more sports threads though. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
December 17, 200817 yr Good idea tbh, I'd like a place to discuss skateboarding. You could just post a topic on Skateboarding, yes? I'm sure a few people would post in it. And, Off Topic has enough Sub Forums now, 1 more would be annoying navigate, although it would probably introduce more sports topics. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
December 17, 200817 yr As I said, we had a topic on it already, and I for one would be up for seeing such a subforum. I would thoroughly enjoy such a place. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
December 17, 200817 yr It'd be nice if Tip.It could have one, but I honestly don't think there's enough people on Tip.It that are into sports to keep it tenable. :( | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
December 18, 200817 yr I'm not sure there are enough Sport topics to really need a subforum for them. I think it's alright with them being within Off-topic currently. :? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous
December 18, 200817 yr I'm not sure there are enough Sport topics to really need a subforum for them. I think it's alright with them being within Off-topic currently. :? Agreed, doesn't seem that many topics on sports compared to some other subjects. Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper.
December 19, 200817 yr I'm not sure there are enough Sport topics to really need a subforum for them. I think it's alright with them being within Off-topic currently. :? You're right. If there was going to be another Sub-Forum to diverge Off Topic, then Sports shouldn't get it. There are other Genres that are more popular now (Politics). ~Ouchy My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

December 21, 200817 yr Literature? I hardly think that there are enough people around here wanting to discuss that in a thread, let alone for a whole subforum.
December 22, 200817 yr 1.Not enough sports to make a sub forum for it. 2.People will argue about which sport is best. 3.People will argue about which team is best. So I say... "No." ⅹ Last.fm YouTube Team A vs Team B M u s ii X Rocky Keane ⅹ
December 23, 200817 yr To be fair though, it's not like it's going to start any more arguments. People already argue over which politician is the best, which opinion is best, which ice cream is best... If we didn't want these forums because of arguments, OT would have closed down long ago.
