Amundogus2 Posted December 19, 2008 Share Posted December 19, 2008 19th December 2008 - SMS Payment Options Today, weve launched the SMS payment option for players from Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden, which can be used to pay for a RuneScape membership. RuneScape members will get regular content updates and gain access to a world thats three times larger than the free world and packed full of members-only quests, minigames and skills. Members also gain fullscreen mode, advert-free gaming and the ability to post on the forums. More information about membership can be found here. The PayBySMS service is currently available to players from the UK, USA, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. It costs 60 something NOK (Norwegian currency) and 1 dollar is about 6-7 NOK? Membership costs about 6$ if you pay with credit card, so thats around 40 NOK if you're paying by credit card. I used to have to buy it by txt when I did a stint of membership a few years ago, but now, bank accounts FTW \ It's great that Ireland is getting it too because I have a friend who might use it.
