I thought this was pretty interesting. There's an Indonesian man who as a teenager cut his knee. His knee was infected with the human papilloma virus and he has some sort of genetic disorder that doesn't provide immunity to the disease. He started growing tree-like warts on his feet. He ignored the warts and they quickly spread over his body. Eventually he lost the use of his hands and looks like he's half a tree.
