Hello Mechscapers! Since everyone has fully converted to mechscape now, we are going to stop supporting runescape. However, we thought we'd le you have a little fun, and we are releasing the source code and devloper tools for Runescape! Now you may remould it into anything you wish! Have fun Mechscapers!

 

 

 

So, what would you do with this golden oppertunity? would youi change just a few things, or do a total conversion using the game's engine? Personaly, i'd add a "Balistics" skill.... i've allways thought guns in rs would be interesting (from the combat engine point of view)

id make a no noob filter lol. actually, i dont kno...i like runescape the way it is...save for a few things that piss me off

I'd give it a compulsory grammar test that IP bans you from the site if you fail it.

I'd make a skill called Speed and the higher you raised it, the faster you would attack (or shoot arrows/magic). Basically it is your rate of attack. Level 1 would be about half as slow as we currently attack each other, 50 would be the same as we attack now, 99 would be about twice as fast as we attack now. Imagine fights twice the speed. 8-)

I would put a chat filter in that would censor anything except 1337 speak.

That would be so epic..

I would spend several years making it as realistic as possible.

 

 

 

No more 20 minute walks from Varrock to Yanille! Now you will have to walk a bit longer! Or you could just tele... your choice :lol:

 

You can now sit at bars. The waiters will come around and let you order drinks.

 

There will be NPC beggers.

 

There will be a cabbage patch in every town and city!

 

There will be the random cow walking past you.

 

ScapeRune will open up. When you go there, your skills are opposite.

 

There will be huge underground mines of pure evilness.

 

Lucien will rule the world!

 

Bunnies will hop around Lucien's evil castle.

 

The Penguins will control half of the globe.

 

Men and Women will now say "Gf noob" when they die.

 

The max XP in a skill is 1B because its a nicer number.

 

Castle Wars and FFA will be more epic.

 

There will be a safe PvP world.

 

One PvP world will be special in that you can have a better handle on controlling the globe easier. :twisted:

 

 

 

I have lots of ideas, but those came first ;)

give an option to remove the filters like in WoW where you can have the filters or no

Srsly, that would be AWESOME. Level 138s everywhere, half of them n00bs... everyone doing everything all at once... it would be CHAOS. And I may be a Guthixian, but chaos is pretty damn fun.

I'd introduce more runes for Runecrafting at higher levels so that people have something more than just double nats to look forward too. With those new runes, new spells would come... perhaps a new spellbook ^_^

 

 

 

I'd also want to make a DRAGON PICK (assuming it hasn't come out already).

 

 

 

Also anybody using the word n00b or variations of such are instantly muted. This will help to filter out [developmentally delayed] people. :twisted:

id have black knight and white knight wars near faldor and in other random citys.

 

id also make a drug called zezima.

I'd probably turn RuneScape into MechScape and call it MeckSkape! The entire game will be free to play and have double the content of RuneScape and MechScape! Muahahahahahahahahah! And they can't do anything about it because they said I can do whatever I want and I'm not selling the game.

keep same but revert wildy to classic tradelimit to classic but leave g.e. and Bh and make everyone "P2p" like good old classic

Bizarro-woodcutting, in which you need to swing trees to axes sticking from the ground in order to obtain logs.

Anybody whose username is abc 1230 gets 200mil exp in every skill and a maxed out house/bank/drop rate/etc.

[hide=Balistics skill]Gun-scape! We'll start thign off by releasing the ballistics skill, the ability to use guns! balistics is the beefed up, more expensive counterpart to ranged, and in certain situations, can defeat meleers!

 

 

 

All this was made possible was made possible by The mad scientist in draynor mannor, his expermentation trying to teleport cucoo birds has caused a rip in spacetime! Guns, arms, and soldiers are flowing out of the portal, and will sell you their weapons for natual rescources such as coal and gold bars. they will still take gold peices, but its more costly than the other methods.

 

 

 

A wide range of weapons are availiable, along with new bullet resistant armors. New strange mechanical beasts have also been seen leaving the portal, one was seen keeling (stupid library censors -.-)a dragon in one hit! What?!?! One of these new beasts was seen heading twoards falador... One of the few surviors heard it being called a "tank". Someone, please stop this thing!!!

Special ability: Is totaly immune to ranged attacks.

 

 

 

The "Tank" has 2 weapons that we know of: a 110mm Main cannon, and a .50 Cal Machine gun. The cannon only fires once every 15 seconds... but it reportatley can instantly kill several people at once. this blast can even pentrate the "protect from balistics" prayer! with the prayer on, it deals up to 60 dmg. the .50 cal is somewhatl ess dmging, but still ly! it fires 3 rounds every 2 seconds. each round is capable of 30 with no armor (balistics and melee armor can reduce this, as will balistics prayer.) it too, is capable of hitting thu prayer. .

 

 

 

Once in awhile, the tanks commander may pop thu the hatch. when he does, the tanks accuracy goes up by 50%. The commander is lvl 110, and willthrow grenad3s dealing up to 50. (also prayer pericing)

 

 

 

The tanks armor is very difficult to penetrate, and anything less than the abyssal whip is likley to fail. magic is effective, but mages are liable to be torn to bits by the tank's guns.only heavy es toits backside are truly effective... but watch out for that .50 cal, eh?[/hide]
