January 3, 200917 yr I've seen many, many experienced players stress the use of a fury. I realize that it has good stats, but what makes it so special? It's not that much better than a glory, and costs a LOT more. Why is it considered so great? What makes it a must-have?

January 3, 200917 yr Meh...the only worthwhile stat in my opinion is the +5 prayer. That's a pretty freakin big boost along with having the same offensive stats as a glory. The defense is pretty irrelevant, and I personally never placed much value in strength bonuses outside that of the actual weapon. The way I look at it is, it should be the first "expensive item" you should buy. January 3, 200917 yr Fury should be stressed to be bought over items such as beserker rings, bandos, DFS and so forth. From all the "expensive" items fury not only gives the greatest overall boost, but for one of the cheapest prices. If you're struggling to keep a whip in your bank, then it indeed is not worth it to you. For those juggling with ~10m+ a fury is one of the first things you should buy if you want the best cost effectiveness per your gp. Think about it, you "upgrade" from Verac skirt to Bandos tasset, fork out 7m, get a +2 strength bonus and lose ALOT of defence AND prayer. You upgrade to fury all your stats increase except your attack which stays the same. What do you spend for it? About 2.5M. Comparison speaks for itself. January 3, 200917 yr It's not THAT much better, but it makes a diffrence. Why do people get a fire cape when its not THAT great. BECAUSE ITS THE BEST CAPE YOU CAN GET. If there is something better than a fury, fury will plummet, its not about its stats its the fact that its the best amulet in the game at this time. And plus. 15 defense more prayer, why not. O.O
January 3, 200917 yr I personally got fury because I like it's aspect :lol: But anyway +2 prayer, +2 strength and +12 defense bonus (especially in magic!) is 110% worth it!
