It's an alternative based on the other way of meleeing, dhide+Melee Prayer

I have, along with countless others. No one has reported them being able to kill them more efficiently with Magic Prayers.

Its true. I have only killed a few dragons, but i have used pretty much every method I could find. This one included.

I agree with Inu. There is nothing special that makes it into a guide. All it is, is a setup for meleeing with magic prayer.

 

 

 

But it's not bad, i like it but like i said, it's nothing new and it certainly ain't effective or good.

it was purely a rumour that it was better, apparently.

It's not a rumour, but it's based on the fact that all dragons are weaker to stab (which is true).

 

 

 

On monsters with crazy defense, a spear with more accuracy could make up for the loss in strength.
