A Dutch translation would suck terribly, and attract swarms of noobs. I wouldn't go on it even if it were the only server. The regular (not translated) Dutch servers are bad enough as they are (seriously, go check them out, you will be amazed)

I've heard the worst mispronunciations of RS items etc. Unfortunately there aren't English letters that will allow me to write many of them.

 

 

 

I don't really know if I'd use FInnish/Swedish servers, were those my native languages, but I'm pretty sure my friends would so of course that would influence it.

 

 

 

Swedish servers would be good for improving my Swedish. :mrgreen:

 

 

 

It's seriously annoying that when you're trying to talk Swedish such a basic word as "bra" is censored just because it means a part of female underwear in English. -.-

 

 

 

Actually, Finnish servers might teach some words to the younger Finns.. Seriously, "myydään taikoja" (selling magics) when selling runes? Fail #-o

A big NO from me. I find dutch people online very annoying. They swear a lot and are not nice at all. This is not true for most of them but it's significantly worse than in english servers.

No way on earth. I'm dutch and I wouldn't even go in the regular dutch servers for 10M. xD However, if it were translated, it would attract a lot of new players, who wouldn't complain "IK SNAP ET NIET" (I don't get it) if they don't speak English.

lol, I noticed that in FPS games. With all due respect, a big portion of Dutch people online behave like aggressive 10-year olds with ADHD. On tip.it there's a lot of cool Dutch people though.

 

 

 

I always play games in English if possible, even if available in other languages I speak. (English is not my 1st language, or even 2nd). It's a pretty universal language, almost all people can understand at least basic words/phrases of it online.

Finnish translations of pretty much every single computer program/game are really bad and many programs are half-translated (Audacity comes to mind first...)

I have 5k fire runes. = Minulla on 5k tuliriimuja.

 

Slayer = Tappaminen (killing... probably the best possible translation.)

As many other Dutch people said, Dutch RuneScape would be horrible. I already hate most of the Dutch RuneScapers, and it really won't improve then.
