cuppy
I have used all of the dragon weapons and am currently mainly using a dragon scimmy. I find that it gets moderate hits often but high hits rarely. The Dragon long hit high sometimes but mostly just averaged lower than drag scimmy. Obviopusly scimmy and long are a lot faster than battleaxe so they take to me. What uis your opinion? What works well? What hits better? SanNo1
for training, the only thing that matters is xp/hr, since scimmy gets you more xp/hr scimmy wins : btw, im sure there are more threads on this subject There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth. warrior5024
To each his own. Dragon scimitar is better in trainign terms, and in castle wars or other team effort circumstances. Dragon long can inflict accurate damage, as well as alot of it, and is under-rated. none is better, it's all situational and personal preference. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
Sir_Kurity
Scimmy its all about speed and power. Scimmy has good speed, and about the same power. O.O
theone_ian
I'm pretty sure it's been proved that the scimmy gets MORE exp for hour then the D long.

Terraaer
Scimmy is better in most situations, such as training, but it is true that long is underated. If i do recall correctly, 99 str can hit around 40s with spec, and is accurate. There was a pker who sometimes used a dlong and was very cool. Mylez
Dragon Scimmy is my preferance. BTW, there's been several of these threads before and they only led to flaming. Close it please? :)
Beriorn
Dragon Long can hit harder, but Dragon Scimmy hits faster. Take your pick.
mister_moocky
Dragon scimitar is better, end of story. Want xp? Scimitar > longsword. Want to kill someone? Scimitar > longsword. Want to use your special? Forget both of them and use your dds. quit

TheDayRsDied
Get a whip. This would be a real debate if it were the Rune Schimmy Vs. the Rune long for F2P PVP. I didn't even know there was a debate here. The only people who think the D long is better than the D schimmy are nubs with Granite plates, obby shields, and D meds, with 71 str, who are too scared to do Monkey Madness. Piccy
I'd just pick scimmy tbh. Costs about as much and it's better for training. Thanks to Vey for the hawt siggie <
