July 26, 200520 yr Where does this thing about them saying they were police keep coming? Anyways, with something like this, i dont think we should trust just one news type. The story is varying too much now, and we should look for a common factor in all of the news types. CH Said last night that the police didnt reviel themselves as undercover cops... So what would be the truth? Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you!

So what would be the truth? This 'story' comes from the police inquest, and eyewitness accounts. Do you genuinely think the police would persue and fire on a suspect without even revealing that they are police? King of OT my shiny metal 'wagon'. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.
July 26, 200520 yr i heard they were the SAS (the best arms squad in the world and yes theyre better than SWAT) becasue they blurred out their faces on BBC and couldnt reveal their names. whether theyre police of not, u dont run from someone with a gun do u!

Actually they were SFO, (specialist firearms officers) but they are indeed SAS trained. And as for the whole "saying they were police" thing. Firstly it's part of the SFO handbook that you tell them your police before engaging in fire, and if they confronted him in the first place they would have said they were police otherwise he would of suspected them. And although i agree that he was a fool to run from men with guns, it's also unlikely the UNDERCOVER (hint hint) police would approach him and be walking around with guns. We don't know why he bolted, seemed suspicious but now it seems that he did so without reason. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

There are many many witnesses testifying that the police revealed themselves. They are highly trained operatives not just a copper with a gun. The immigrants completely disregard any values native to UK, and yet expect us to adapt to theirs! And why should i leave!? My family was actually born here, in this country. They didnt come here in a van and they can actually speak English :x

We must be looking at different sets tho because the rate of immigrants both legal and illegal has been decreasing since 97 Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. July 26, 200520 yr detonators are stored in pockets/hands. push button, boom. well done to the police for getting tough on them. we're finally beginning to show we're not afraid to fight back instead of living in fear Surely he would've pressed it earlier then. And if the police can't de-arm the man in the time they pull him down, jump on him etc. they are bad coppers, their first and last resort was violence resulting in death. you know what you REALLY need to get a reality check. Suicde bomber, they already see themselves as dead, reason he was running? either 1) real;ly determined to get to his target or 2) was going for the biggest body count he could get since he couldn't reach target. besides the fact that he didnt already detonate it, he probly had a trip wire attached to the bag so if it was tampered with or taken off him BOOM so dont you DARE call those brave officers "bad coppers" the only real way to catch a suicde bomber ( and capture them alive for information and trial) is either thier asleep or otherwise completly caught off guard. July 26, 200520 yr If I was in the middle of a crowded area and some people in plain clothes came after me with any sort of weapon I would do exactly what he did. He ran towards a large number of people in hopes he would be able to escape. I know the price. I pay it gladly.

July 26, 200520 yr Yes it was a tragic death for the Brazilian. But I put a lot more blame on him than the officer/s that shot him. 1. He had a padded jacket, could of been loaded with bombs inside. 2. He had a rucksack (Well, some dodgy looking bag), which also could been loaded with bombs. 3. Witnesses report him as being in a rush. Now If I was an officer, my orders would be to ELIMINATE THE THREAT OF A BOMB DETINATING!!! The officers saw this "possible threat, and acted accordingly. I mean WTF!? you don't do or wear/carry these kinds of things in times like these. Although I do realise he was innocent, and my prayers are with his family.
July 26, 200520 yr ...I'm willing to bet that there was at least one other person in that tube station wearing a padded jacket and a rucksack who was in a hurry. It's not as if it's rare. deviantart account

That would be even better, if I was being chased and saw some armed, recognizable security officials I would make a bee-line straight for them :P I know the price. I pay it gladly.

Even on a warm London day? Anyway the padded jacket wasn't the main suspicion, it was the fact that he came out of a house that was under surveillance, and bolted when the police tried to stop him, even though he spoke perfect english according to his cousin.
