January 15, 200917 yr Alright, I'm tired of Obby/Zamm cape. So, I'm going to try for the FireCape again. The first time i did this, i ran out of sup restores right when i got to jad (Kinda funny eh?). So, I've been reading guides, and watching jad demonstrations(SPC?) for the last week, and i think I'm gona give it a few gos. Anyway, here is my set-up: And here are all my stats that apply: Attack: 82 Strength: 81 Defense: 80 Range: 84 Prayer: 70 Oh, and i can use the pools at Oo'Glog. The main things that i was thinking about was my weapon and hides. I was thinking of switching Black Hides with Karil's Leathers. But the melee defence seemed more important to me. But, Dragon Darts and Karil's Crossbow are out of the subject. I'm not spending 700k on Bolt Racks every attempt. Nor am i spending 2m on Dragon Darts(that's a given). But, i think Rune Darts would have been an option, but I'd have to switch my cape with Ava's Accumulator. And then there is the Rune Crossbow, but i wouldn't know what bolts and what shield to use. The reason I'm using the Crystal Bow is because the recharges are cheap (down to 190k for me) and that's what the Guide I'm using says to use. But, that's were you guys come in. Thanks in advance for your advice~ Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
January 15, 200917 yr Ehh... I find the Broad bolts much simpler to use, but whatever. For fight caves, stats do very little compared to experience at Prayer switching. Perfect that before you waste 2 hours. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

Perfect that before you waste 2 hours. Sorry to post hijack but I'm thinking of going for my long overdue Fire Cape* and would like to know how you can practice prayer switching as I thought the only way to face Jad was to get through the waves first. *I got to the latter waves, logged off for the loo came back and was at wave 1. Gave up after that. Trust the Gene Genie!
January 15, 200917 yr to practice prayer switching, all u have to do is search for a fight caves guide on utube and folow thier mouse clicks when they are fighting Jad. simple as that. Quest cape since Jan. 30th, '08
January 15, 200917 yr SirHemen made a guide... It's somewhere in the Gen guides. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
January 15, 200917 yr accumulator, rune c'bow, unholy book, verac's helm+skirt, armadyl chestplate/black d'hide body, ranger/snakeskin boots is way better that your set up. And don't bother bringing guthan's, it's garbage in there. quit
January 15, 200917 yr You should always use the accumulator when ranging, the range bonus is always good. Other than that, from what I have seen, that is a good set up. Make sure to get prayer switching down. If your stats were lower, I would have recommended prayer flashing as well, however, you probably won't need that. You may want to consider switching for some verac's to keep your prayer up, and don't take guthan's, switch for some more super restores and sara brews. Everyone says guthan's is bad in there. I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-) Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?
January 15, 200917 yr when u get to jad, dont panic, even though jad is one of the highest level monsters in the game and it can easily 1 hit you if u make one mistake...
