Deiophobus
You all should read Much Ado About Nothing. I thought it was really funny, and it's a lot easier to read than many of his plays.
Sumpta
Oh yes, Much Ado is fabulous! The bickering between Beatrice and Bene[bleep] is absolutely hilarious. Screwball avant la lettre. And it's been made into a pretty good film version (rare for Shakespeare) by Kenneth Brannagh.
doomy
If we didn't have to study the plays every goddamn year maybe they'd be alright. Doomy edit: I like sheep

But Luhrmann's latest film was a musical, visual trainwreck.

Zonorhc
The real kicker to all this was that my class had to watch the modern-day adaption of R+J, starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Horrible movie. You best be joking. Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet is just about the only film adaptation of the play that was actually any good. i_love_burritos
Shakespeare, may not have even been his real name. Too lazy to search for the article. Also there were several hundred ways to spell "Shakespeare"
Hevendor_Guy
I haven't read any Shakespeare I hadn't liked. Agreed. I've read Macbeth, The Tempest, As You Like it, and Romeo and Juliet. Liked all of them alot. There's cake through here, apparently.
