Iamdan
Long story short I was in the US for a month, came back yesterday to see an invitation to be a player mod, and a withdrawal because I wasn't around to reply. I don't play a whole lot but I wouldn't mind helping out get rid of idiots, and it would be nice for my opinion to be listened to by Jagex. I sent an email to [email protected] which will probably be ignored, but is there any other means of contacting them? I don't have membership so I can't post on the forums. Perhaps if there is some way pmods can contact jagex, somebody could say something for me? The account in question is G0dz__R4ng3r. (crap name yes but I was like 11, and the double space is helpful) I was invited 6th Jan and the withdrawal was the 15th of Jan if that helps. Nathanael999
From what I have heard, Pmods are able to contact Jagex so if you can contact one it may be helpful. I personally have a friend who is a Pmod so I will let him know and see what happens
Lets_3ekout
The exact thing happened to me about a week ago. I went on the RSOF and went into the tech support board (seems to be the most appropriate... No forum there really fits the issue perfectly). I asked about it (be sure to make it formal without any spelling/grammar mistakes, first impressions count ;) ) and within an hour I got the following response: Hello there Philip Kolar. I'll get someone from that team to send you an inbox message at some point today/tomorrow/next couple of days. Cheers! Mod Poppy Pretty In Pink I still haven't got a message but she said that it couple take a couple of days so I suppose it might still be coming. In the end, it's not the end of the world if you don't get it. Very annoying though. :-# A Draconic Guide V1.4, Fimer - Multi-Timer Farming Timer V3.Dragon Boots: 39|Abyssal Whips: 16|Dark Bows: 1|

Lets_3ekout
It may not come for him, hes a retired mod. Retired TIF mod, which doesn't really have anything to do with my rs account/pmod chances. ^ Did you ever get it? Unfortunatly, no I haven't got anything back. Though for me it's past the point where I can be bothered trying to find a Jmod to talk them over to send me another invite. cookie1762
I have been invited to become a moderator on runescape. You have to respond within a few days for them to accept that you want to be one. If you don't within that period of time, they take the invitation back. http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging:

Obviously.. how is that helping his question though when he clearly stated what you said in his explanation... :-s --- Anyway, I have heard a many number of times that it's near impossible to contact Jagex.. apparently this is untrue as they are a business and thus HAVE to be able to be contacted. You could try finding a Jmod in-game.. yes like a blind man trying to find a paper plate in a snow storm on Antarctica but hell it's worth a try. Don't Jmods appear at big update areas where masses of people come together so they can try and monitor things? Stuff like that? Maybe like a new minigame update with a specific world. I don't know for sure where or when they come, I am yet to see one myself, but this seems to be where a lot of people have met them before. Apparently, my signature was to big. They take the no response as not wanting to become one, and thats the end of that. Try to be a little nicer next time, Kay? :shame: http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging:

Lets_3ekout
^ Did you ever get it? Unfortunatly, no I haven't got anything back. Though for me it's past the point where I can be bothered trying to find a Jmod to talk them over to send me another invite. Just an update, I did eventually get an invite again from the same jmod. Although don't be expecting any speedy re-invites :P A Draconic Guide V1.4, Fimer - Multi-Timer Farming Timer V3.Dragon Boots: 39|Abyssal Whips: 16|Dark Bows: 1|
Randox
I am currently in the invitation process, and I can tell you they check out the status of your account about once every 7 days maybe, and I think thats just a computer. I got my confirmation letter literaly 2 hours before the code enterign deadline. I had told them to send the second letter on the 24th, they confirmed that on the 28th. That really sucks. I suggest contacting an actual pmod (if you have any friends that are mods). From what I hear, the least a pmod would be able to do is metion you are interested and have to re-entered into the pmod condidate pool. That you were selected without being a mem is pretty amazing, apparently about the only way to actualy be noticed is by posting on the RSOF (I got invited the month after I started posting in the D&D section alot with helpful information and I have player for over 5 years).
