Of course, if I did, it would be considered a hate crime, so now I blast country in retaliation. I actually have nothing against rap, it's just not my cup of tea. If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person. For example, I HATE: -T pain -akon -TI -jeezy -50 cent <--especially him -new kanye west stuff and anyone who sounds similar to them... Now for rappers/rap groups that I love: -Wu-tang clan - definately my favorite as of late as for members of wu-tang, my top 4 favorites are inspectah deck, GZA, Ghostface killah, and Method man -Mos def and Talib Kweli - putting them together because their compilation album "black star" was what got me into them -The roots -Lupe Fiasco -OLD kanye west.... :( R.I.P. -Atmosphere -Common -Notorious B.I.G. -Eminem -Flobots -Tupac -Nas and thats all i can think of right now, but i'm sure i'm leaving out a few http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some of the artist that I listen to Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, The Cool Kids, Common, Gym Class Heroes, JayZ, Lil Wanye (going to one of his concerts on Weds.), Mos Def, N.E.R.D., Shwazye, Wu Tang Clan, Young Jeezy. I listen to others but you'll find me listen to mostly these guys when I do listen to hip hop. Love that list, N.E.R.D. used to be one of my faves but not so much anymore. However, play Lapdance for me and I can't help but smile haha. Fun fact: Pharrell grew up in my town. (and went to HS like 10 mins from my house) :D REPRESENT THE 757! Rap is my favroite type of music, I LOVE the underlying beats going on. And how rappers use different forms of words, to fit their rhyme scheme, some people call it bad grammar, I call it art. (srsly) My favorite Rap\R&B are: Lil' Wayne, Kayne West, Flobots, TI a little bit, not really though. AESOP ROCK (YE SON), then I like occasioanl songs from other various rappers. Ne-Yo is a pretty good R&B. Chris Brown just sucks though. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001.
