Flamewhisker Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 I definately cannot be the only kid out here who has had an anoying teacher (or in my case atm, HAVE an anoying teacher) Rant about them, but then its general chatting (no flaming!) and maybe no names, in case out of the off chance someone might know that teacher Well I have a biology teacher at the moment who is a devil in a human body. She is the only teacher I know that can make a whole class of kids hate her in less than a week. I currently have all honors classes in the 9th grade well math, government, and language arts are all easy and hardly any work to do. My friend was complaining to me about all the work she will have to do that night, and like 2-4 hours of it being biology and my teacher heard that... Well she then turns to us saying "This is an honors class, you will have at least an hours homework a night" then goes on about other stuff and I didn't quite listen because she was making me mad that day in class. She also doesn't teach....she will explain stuff to us, lecture at a speed of those people who say the "fine print" on radio ads, show us these outdated CD (sorta like a powerpoint) things that hardly tell us anything, gives us homework that ISN'T in the book and that she has told us nothing about, then expects us to do good on tests when she hasn't explained half of it. If i took a poll on how many people actually like her, I doubt anyone would put their vote on "like her" Today we had a sub, and she left us this confusing worksheet and instructions to the sub "DO NOT HELP THEM OR EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO THEM" and its not just because she wants us to think.... if she wanted us to think, she wouldn't have given us the assignment she did (the assignment wasn't easy, just confusing with the instructions and stuff) *takes deep breath* well I got my rant out, any others? They're like "Why didn't you do your homework" In a loud tone so everybody can hear. I say I forgot or I didn't understand. A waste of time really. Pointless to call somebody out for not doing something. Embarrassing as well P.S. Annoying If you do things right people won't be sure you've done anything at all. And then the stupid assistant principal made me stay after with her once when I walked out of that class because I got pissed. All my other classes are good, carrying high 80's in them. BR BR BR? I got a c+ on a math test I got one question wrong on (she didnt write comments, or in anyway show that i could have explained my answers better). Also, she was a slob... books piled everywhere and things like that. The funny part is in the suggestions box of my report card, she wrote "could work on orginazation skills". She also ripped apart any work I did on the compueter, then someone else hands something done on the compueter, no problems there. She would interupt my presentations in class, start droning on about something, and when I start off in the wrong spot (try rembering EXACTLY where you were after upwards of 5 minutes of her talking) She was also a [bleep] to me in general. anonymous1234 Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Weird, my biology teacher is like yours but sort of different...nicer...She doesn't really teach at all, in fact we get homework maybe twice a month, but if you ask her a question she'll start rambling on about everything possibly related to the question until you understand. WELL BECAUSE IT OBVIOUSLY CONSISTUINATES INTO A GANG VIOLENCE ASSOCIATION OF THIEVES, MUGGERS, AND OTHER NEFARIOUS NE'ERDOWELLS. They come up with the stupidest reasons for these things. Most typically: Gang violence, or losing attention in the classroom. My sunglasses do not do either. My Zune do not, either. My plastic dinosaur does. But it's allowed. On top of the fact that I can't stand the way she conducts class and really don't like the subject, she accused me of cheating. Falsely, but it was a pretty irritating situation. I actually still don't know if it's resolved. Anyway, I find it requires incredible willpower just to stay awake, not to mention pay attention to what she's droning about. I haven't gotten homework in English this year and I haven't done Latin homework so far this year. My latin teacher is a douche, get's no respect and get's pissed because class is just pretty much abusing him. One class he was freaking out about nobody ever being in class so he said no more missing class whether sick or not, big test on February 21st etc etc. I gave him time for his big rant, then told him I'm going to France for 6 weeks from the 18th of February :lol: The expression on his face made doing latin worthwhile. He also heard me call him a "[bleep]" while I was smoking in the toilets in school with 2 girls and another one of my friends, he's get such little respect he didn't even bother giving out to me for it, just told us to get out. "Wow, that was a hit below the belt. I realize you can't hit any higher but still" "Don't have such a short temper" "Wow, you're attention span is small" One time he wrote on the board "[name] can't erase this" near the top of it. Seriously, if you expect high school and college to be as easy as middle school, then well...You're going to be surprised. But I'm lucky. At least this year. After slightly altering my schedule, all my teachers are amazing. I get very little homework, and I have good grades - I suppose it's because my school is stupid and only allows one honors class for freshmen (Math, and I'm in the sophomore class for that...[/arrogance]), but eh. Still lucky. Though my French teacher (Before I switched out) had some issues. She made four kids cry in the few months I was there. There were five Asian kids in my class (Only two are there now :P ), and all of us were quiet. Since she focuses a ton on participation and speaking (Which I understand), she got annoyed by this, and said something along the lines of "WHAT THE MATTER WITH YOU. DO YOU NOT SPEAK IN CHINA. IS THAT WHY YOU ASIAN SO QUIET. OH I KNOW. IF YOUR EYES ARE SMALL YOU DON'T SPEAK." ...Then someone so nicely says "Um, he's [referring to me] Taiwanese, not Chinese..." "SAME THING. I DON'T CARE." Yeah. If I cared more about the Taiwan Strait conflict, I might have went apemonkey on her. But nah, I didn't care much. I kept quiet. Oh the irony. But then someone rats her out to the principal, she gets pissed. She then lectures us on racism and political correctness, and says "I was born in the Congo, I CAN'T be racist.
