Well, I went there for the first time today. It was ALOT of fun :D First time I went no one would come with me so I went solo and managed 2 kills before having to bank (Wow, I fail.) Second time I went in a duo and managed 3 more. The duo was far more fun though. I didn't get many drops or anything, just 6 blue charms and some golds. And a ranarr :D but it was still fun. Don't see why people use the dragon halberd though, tried it in the solo, then the whip in the duo, and i did far more damage with the whip, and didn't take as much damage.

 

 

 

So, do any of y'all like to do TDs and what are your set ups n' stuff. And have you got any good drops? :D

I have not fought them since they were first released and much easier to kill.

 

 

 

A silverlight/darklight is imperative as it drops the shield and using the dhally keeps you out of melee range allowing for easier prayer switching. Sure it drops your attack as the whip>dhally but you have the chance to take less damage. Only place that falls apart is the need of hitting with the silver/darklight to drop the shield again.

 

 

 

When I went I got a dragon chunk but by that time it was only worth around 4m. Not too shabby so I quit while I was ahead :P

I think dragon hally is way better then whip because you get the whole demon without getting hit once (exp maybe when you lure) and the spec is awesome. I did 65 once on it.

Yes, but what I mean is: The demon will still switch to mage or range and deal damage, and the attack is way slower, so at the cost of a few prayer points, you can deal far more damage and kill the demon faster.

Alot of melee players do not care about killing faster, they want to afk as much as possible. Maybe that is why they chose to hally them.

Also Tormented Demon slaying = good discussion in my opinion.

Why don't people use Salamanders there? Wouldn't that be smart? Or does the safespot not allow using them?

you can't block other demons as easily with sallies as you have to be in melee range, and they are quite weak and slow. + you need darklight in order to kill their shields.

Well you don't need to be in melee range for the mage fire one, I know that. At Barrows you can safespot the brothers with the salamander if you attack them diagonally.

Prayer potions isn't my issue atm, its food.

people use d hallies because there is a spot where you diagonally attack a demon, which causes it to still try to melee you. Between titans, en excalibur and a little food, i can camp there almost as long as my titans hold on. Apparently unicorns are amazing here, and you can stay as long as you have one by your side, getting 50+ kills on a good solo trip.

yes and in this case, turning prayer of = not getting hit = less food used. sometimes they will simply STOP ATTACKING ALL TOGETHER. i thought what i said woulda been self explanitory?

that spot, right there. you are in melee "range" but they cant hit you there. also 2 steps west/1 north, when the demon is where im standing

Thats the spot I use, but I go around the other side, that way demons don't pile me.

Actually if you know how to trap the demon the right way you can take no damage and no pray points (Except when he do that special mage att). Doing that I can easily do 10+ solo using broads, monks and cheap stuff.

Umm are you lying ? your dont have 277 QP or you just havent updated lol :P

Not really, with hally you can attack from one spot back and only be attacked by mage/range, and it's not that bad using with crystal bow, besides the hally spec can do some good damage
