Wizz
Well I downloaded Firefox and let's just say in 30 mins I got annoyed by it already...... When I go into Youtube it says I have Javascript turn off or I need to install a new version of Adobe Flash. So I do, but it still gives me the same message! But on IE it works fine.... I try to log into Tip.it, I put in pass I get the "You are now Logged in" Message, I click the Index tab and guess what. I'm not logged in! So I try again, still get the same message but once I click Index or Check your messages I get logged off but in IE it works fine.... (I'm posting this on IE while Firefox is open in another window) I try to watch Flash videos but what do you know! It can't it just loads then blank :/ But on IE it works..... I go to my Favorite blog but Firefox blocks it even though I know it's a safe site! IE does not... I really don't see what all the commotion about Firefox is all about :/ If these small problem are fixed I'd be happy to switch to Firefox but until someone helps me with these problems I will use IE. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
Wongtong
Meh, it's just a preference. You CAN tweak firefox so the speed is faster but meh, not much different. Oh yeah, one thing about IE was that major security flaw or something. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers! I'm not logged in! Close all the tabs of TIF on firefox, then open one with TIF and log in, I've found that it automatically logs me out if I'm not signed in and have lots of TIF tabs open when I'm not logged in. (hope that makes sense) What's the blog that firefox blocks? 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers! No you don't get it, I open Firefox it goes into Google (so far one tab), on that tab I put in the URL Adress Forum.tip.it (Still one tab), I go to log In and put Username+ Pass (Still one tab), Tip.it takes me to the "You are now Logged in" Page (Still one tab), I click Index and BAM Firefox gives me a big slap and it turns out I'm not logged in. Also the Blog is Post Secrets. EDIT: One more thing I try to log into another forum (PHPBB3 based) and it does the same thing like in this Forum! *Emo Urges Rising* Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

Wizz
Well thanks for trying, I have not done anything and I barely Downloaded FIreFox if that helps. Ok Youtube works fine and Flash videos works now O_o but I still can't log into Tip.it right and I manage to fix the blocking of Websites. Ok I turn off enable cookies in Firefox and guess what I can log in! But I have no Idea what kind of effects will happen if I surf the net without cookies enabled. I go to my Favorite blog but Firefox blocks it even though I know it's a safe site! IE does not... Do you know it's safe? I really don't see what all the commotion about Firefox is all about :/ 1. Faster 2. Safer (Remember those computers hijacked by IE just a month or two ago? There was an announcement on Tip.it, it was so big) 3. Completely free (You can't get IE without buying Windows) 4. Cross platform 5. More extensible 6. Renders HTML and CSS better than IE (Web pages display correctly- Sometimes they display so much better in FF than IE you wonder what the developers were thinking.) pryomancer
I'd use Firefox just because it's so much better for web designing. IE is the bane of web design. Besides, just because a few things don't work on your particular system, doesn't make it terrible and everyone has to use IE. It works perfectly well for the millions of other people who use Firefox. obfuscator
I managed to tweak firefox to make it a fair bit faster, and it is unquestionably more secure then internet explorer. My personal preference though remains Google chrome, I love its simplicity. Dracion1
Ok. Go into Tools > Options > Privacy, and make sure that both boxes under cookies are ticked, the drop down box is set 'until they expire', and tip.it isn't added as a exception. Also, when you installed, did you import all settings from IE? Something from there might have affected it. I go to my Favorite blog but Firefox blocks it even though I know it's a safe site! Faux
I use Firefox because it handles bookmarks better. Oh and it has adblock (I don't use it for ads, most ad sites are on my HOSTS file anyway, I use it mainly for internet meme pics which are thrown a lot in another forum I frequent) :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

Sam
Perhaps log out of tip.it forums on IE, then log in on FF, and tick "the remember me" box. Then it should work. Also, Firefox is more secure, since IE is the browser all the hackers and other maliscious people work on to get into your system, not firefox. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
