March 1, 200917 yr I prefer to kill dusties. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
March 1, 200917 yr Bursting/barraging rock lobbies is the best for crimsons. If you can't afford that method or are not interested in trying that then Dusties are the best for lower leveled players who don't want to or can't do Waterfiends. If you can't do dusties then I suggest NOT camping for charms yet. Work on your slayer until you can kill dusties and then camp there for them. Apparently, my signature was to big.
March 1, 200917 yr 1) Rock lobby 2) Scarabites w/ cannon -very risky- 3) Black demons w/ cannon (the ones in Edge/Tav dungeon now have a high crim drop rate) 4) Dusties 5) Greater demon REQS: 1) DT and Ice burst, you'll also want protect melee 2) Contact + Dwarf cannon, also mage prayer 3) Dwarf Cannon, melee prayer if meleeing 4) Slayer req 5) Nothing SUGGESTED: 1) High mage level, ahrims, high prayer 2) VERY high prayer and defense level, barrows armor. Be ready to tele at a moment's notice. 3) Good melee stats + high prayer/high ranged, they take a while to kill 4) Facemask of course, B2P for food 5) 127 combat to get the Wild Dogs off you ~It's Super Effective! March 1, 200917 yr You could try roaches. Descent exp and about a 3/4 crimson drop rate. Oh really? Waterfiends themselve have a 75% (more or less) crimson drop rate, so I really doubt those easily killed roaches are better. Anyway, it's basicly what Zaaps said, all though he missed a very good one: Nechs. And tbh, dusties aren't all that great for crimson charms. They are very good melee xp and easy to camp, but I wouldn't ever consider camping them for summoning xp. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!

March 2, 200917 yr I get one almost every kill, it is pretty high. Its not as fast as waterfiends but its nice because at my level there is virtually no risk of death, thier max hit is 8 and its not very accurate. I have been camping there for a few weeks because I got bored of waterfiends. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. March 2, 200917 yr Theres always Daganoths in the CT. There one of the most underrated crimson charm droppers of them all. Take a few prayer pots, your best offensive prayer gear (a super attack and strength potion also helps a lot) and a decent combat familiar. You get about 30 (with about 20 golds, 10 greens and 1 or 2 blues) every 35 to 40 minutes as well as about 30k to 50k in profit (after the cost of the pots and pouch). The exp isn't bad; magic from the alchs, melee from the combat and another skill too since your combat familiar will dish out a far bit of damage as well. March 2, 200917 yr Mmmm never considered dags. I might wander there when I get boared of roaches and take a look. Roaches are quick and easy to kill, while waterfiends take alot higher levels to be able to kill them quick enough to get quick charms. http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging: 1

March 2, 200917 yr I tried the roach soldiers yesterday after I read this, and didn't do nearly as good as people are saying. I was killing them almost twice as fast as I can kill Waterfiends, but I got about 1/4 the charms that the Waterfiends give me per hour. Now, the law rune drops were great, and the rune scims and square shields made me a fair chunk of GP, but for charms I'm going to stick with Waterfiends.
