After months of slayer I've finally maxed every combat stat (except slayer :x). I used controlled the entire time to avoid the inferior saradomin sword, and that's how I maxed. Kind of.

 

 

 

As usual at an attempted 99 party by me I messed up a little. Nothing srs though. :P Don't tell anyone ;o

Controlled is awesome and so is having even melee stats 10/10 for controlled.

Me and cav got timed out of the arena like 30 secs before you leveled. Was win of epic proportions. Good for you saving the melees for last <3.

Anyone who laughs at you using controlled with a whip is an idiot. It's by far the most efficient thing to do, except on waterfiend and gargoyle tasks, where SS on crush is better.

That is wrong. The most efficient way to train would be to train the stats in this order: strength,attack,defense.

 

 

 

Strength first so you can hit higher therefore get more exp per hit (on average), then attack so you hit more often (which means more exp) then def.

 

 

 

Although this isn't true until you have roughly high levels in all stats.
