Who would be in your "Dream Band"

Featured Replies

Just as the title says.

It could be anyone from any time period.

For me it would be:

Vocals: Steve Perry (Journey)

Guitar: Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)

Bass: Geddy Lee (Rush)

Drums: Keith Moon (The Who)

Vocals: Hansi Kursch (Blind Guardian, Demons & Wizards)/ Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth)/ Serj Tankian (System of A Down) [They would each do different own parts of songs, although most songs would be just one vocalist.]

Lead Guitar: Joe Satriani

Rhythm Guitar: Slash (Kill yourself if you don't know who Slash is)

Bass Guitar: I don't really care, any good Progressive band's bass player.

Drums: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater)

Keyboards/Synthesizers: Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater)

Something along these lines.

all instruments: Jesus

all instruments: Dave Grohl

THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST.....

I actually really hate Dave Grohl, can't stand his voice :/

Vocals: Max Cavalera (Sepultura/Soulfly)

Lead guitar: Muhammed Suiçmez (Necrophagist)

Rythm/Lead guitar/aditional vocals: Chuck Schuldiner (Death)

Bass: Uhhh... does it really matters? :uhh: I guess Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)

Drums: Hard to decide if Igor Cavalera (Sepultura/Nailbomb) or Dave Lombardo (Slayer)... But Igor wins...

I'm trying to figure out how that would sound... Pretty bizarre.

16185_s.gif

Vocals: Yuki Chikudate (Asobi Seksu)

Guitars/Programming: Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine)

Addition effects such as E-bow: Jónsi Birgisson (Sigur Rós)

Bass: Mauro Pezzente (Godspeed You! Black Emperor)

Drums: Yasunori Takada (Mono)

Of course, they would play shoegazing post-rock with blissful female vocals.

Well it really depends on the genre...and we've had this thread about 4 times, but I'll have a go at it.

Drums: Danny Carey (Tool) (Obviously haha)

Lead Guitar: David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)

Rythym Guitar: Jeff Beck (Was actually going to be Syd Barrett's replacement, but they went with Gilmour. I'd like to see them play together)

Bass: Geddy Lee (Rush)

Vocals: Cedric Bixler-Zavala (The Mars Volta)

"He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."

Vocals: Corey Taylor of Slipknot or Matt Wilkof of Another Black Day

Lead Guitar: Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold

Rhythm Guitar: Dan Donegan of Disturbed

Bassist: Me. No, not really. Steve Harris of Iron Maiden or Jeanne Sagan from All That Remains

Drums: Jason Costa of All That Remains

Yeah, I'm really wannabe.

Vocals: Maynard James Keenan (Tool)

Guitar: Kirk Hammett (Metallica)

Bass: Shavo Odadjian (System Of A Down)

Drums: Danny Carey (Tool)

BR BR BR? HUEHUEHEUEHUE

Hrmm I might do this seriously. I think I can do two.

Vocals: Zack De La Rocha

Drums: Danney Carey (I dont know many drummers)

Guitar: Tom Morello

Bass: Les Claypool

Next is my death metal-reggae band I want. :D

Vocals: Damian Marley, Corpse Grinder

Guitar: Arnaud (Dont know last name from Gorod)

Drums: Blake Richardson

Bass: Barby (also from Gorod)

Now that would be a [bleep]ing weird band.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Singer(s): Steven Tyler (Aerosmith)/Axl Rose (Guns N' Roses)/David Lee Roth (Van Halen)

Lead guitar: This is a really tough choice between Slash (Guns N' Roses), Joe Perry (Aerosmith) and Eddie van Halen (Van Halen). I think Eddie is the better player there but Slash and Joe Perry kick [wagon].

Rhythm guitar: Izzy (Guns N' Roses)

Bass: Duff (Guns N' Roses)

Drummer: Steve Adler (Guns N' Roses)

Basically some mutant hybrid of Guns N' Roses/Van Halen/Aerosmith.

jjroxlu7.jpg

Vocals: Hrmm.... there are so many to choose from

Drums: Jon Theodore (One Day As A Lion/Ex-drummer of Mars Volta)

Bass: Dan Briggs (BTBAM)

Lead Guitar + Lead Vocals = ew, live show failure.

He's not great live, but I admit, the Fall of Troy's studio music is good.
