April 11, 200917 yr still amazes me how people manage to get hilts and such soloing 1-2 kills a trip, when I sit at masses or in LS teams for hours on end, sometimes even multiple days in a row without someone in the team getting a drop. WHY JAGEX!?!? WHY! Actually, that's information bias. Solo trips rarely yield anything, when they do then people will be sure and say. Going with a team for hours makes it likely to get a drop, so the times you'll hear about it is the unusual time when they DON'T get a drop after x number of hours.
