I don't think this topic is about naming your favorite and most hated music genre. If her music sucks then I really don't think people would be buying her albums. Oh btw miss smart one or mr or whatever you are, Ciara doesn't fall in the rap genre, she's in the r&b genre. :? Get your facts straight before you bad mouth a sucessful artist. Album sales have nothing to do with a musician's talent People bought those albums because they liked the music, just because you might hate them doesn't make what I said irrelevant. And who said anything about album sales? Ok, she doesn't rap. My bad. Allow me to restate my opinion. Ciara's singing SUCKS. Ok? That's IMO. Ya, she's got a "sexy" voice, but her songs are just unbearable to me. The very fact that im discussing about ciara gives me a headache. People buy albums because they like their music. Partly true. You could buy an album with ONE good song that you heard on the radio, while the other 11 suck like crap (Excuse my language). So, 1/12 songs are good in an album, which makes the album statistically...sucky. Not only that, some people just buy the albums because their friends bought them, or because the popular kids at school bought them as well. And what happens after they pop it into their CD players? They feel bad because they bought a crappy album. Back on topic. Currently listening to Sad Statue-Mezmerize-System of a down. Sup noobs.

Pyro
People don't buy music they like, people buy music that other listens to, for some obscure reason. I'm currently playing: Iron Maiden - The Clansman, from the Virtual XI album. It's easily my favourite song of the album, which is considered one of Maidens worst by most. I disagree though, and having a new singer (Blaze Bayley) for a few albums is a refreshing change.
How2PK
Hm, seems like a lot of people didn't really understand what to do. The Doors - The Doors (album) Debut album of the band "The Doors" which we all know from songs such as "Light my Fire", "Riders on the Storm" and of course the in "Apocalypse Now" used soundtrack "The End". In my opinion a very amazing album, great variety in their music, from calm rock blues to hypnotizing acid rock. Keyboard playing by Ray Manzarek is truly amazing, the whole band (instrumental) plays around his music and then we have Jim singing his poetic lyrics and with those two combined you just start living in different worlds. And then of course the famous song "The End" (Which is also the last song on the album), the controversial 'song', dialogue spoken/sung by Jim, guided by calm music makes this song a real hypnotizing, heavy trip, very easy to visualize. For some people it might be too much, it's 'sick' in some ways, and for it's time it was mind breaking. I think all in all this is one of my favourite albums that I've got and I can recommend everybody to give it a try, for all I care you just download it. And if you want to know more about the band, Jim Morrison and his life and dead, you might want to watch the movie "The Doors" directed by Oliver Stone, starring Val Kilmer giving an awesome acting performance as Jim. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Without people buying music they wouldn't buy normally we would all be very ignorant of other types of music. Without these forums I wouldn't have learned about the greatness of Coldplay, Radiohead and Kasabian. Its only because admirable people like these bands that i went out to buy their music, and i sincerely love it. Thats why my now playing is currently... X&Y - Coldplay on their X&Y album. (No illustration needed, I'm sure you are all aware of this album, its not like its obscure or anything). When i turn on my computer in the morning and open up iTunes, i put on either White Shadows, Fix You, Talk or X&Y. Then i let the album play through. I basically bought the album because alot of people on these boards like it. After a week or so of listening to this, i bought A Rush Of Blood to The Head, and that's awesome too 8) . Necromagus
Sonata Arctica - My Selene Endymion was a handsome shepherd boy of Asia Minor, the mortal lover of the moon goddess Selene. Each night he was kissed to sleep by her. She begged Zeus to grant him eternal life so she might be able to embrace him forever. Zeus complied, putting Endymion into eternal sleep and each night Selene visits him on Mt. Latmus, near Milete, in Asia Minor. The ancient Greeks believed that his grave was situated on this mountain.
