Fine Again-Seether---Disclaimer 2

best band ever, except for their song with amy lee

otherwise, awsome

I like some of Seether's old stuff. Like Fine Again (that is a cool song. Very catchy..). but, for some reason, I really dislike their newer stuff, like Remedy. They haven't shown much growth, I guess.

Sonata Arctica - My Selene

Endymion was a handsome shepherd boy of Asia Minor, the mortal lover of the moon goddess Selene. Each night he was kissed to sleep by her. She begged Zeus to grant him eternal life so she might be able to embrace him forever. Zeus complied, putting Endymion into eternal sleep and each night Selene visits him on Mt. Latmus, near Milete, in Asia Minor. The ancient Greeks believed that his grave was situated on this mountain.

Sonata Arctica is an amazing band, probaly one of my favorites. Have you ever heard the song 'The end of this chapter'? It's deffinitly one of my favorite and most listened to songs ever.

I'm playing a playlist from a few years back, it's full of oldies but goodies ranged from 70's - 80's. Anyway this is how I get my feel when I make my own musical tracks. But right now i'm listening to "Earth, Wind, & Fire" - Shining Star.

I wouldn't say it's my favorite EW&F track, but it has a nice tempo, and the overall meaning from the song is positive.

NP: Sonata Arctica - The End Of This Chapter

I gave you my time

I gave you my whole life

I gave you my love, every dime

They told me it was... a crime

While you are sleeping, I steal your earring

Light you one candle, this anger I handle

They said I won't find you, but now I'm beside you

I'm not all that stable

You should know by now that you are mine...

Full lyrics.

It's a great song about a guy that can't let go of his ex-girlfriend and has turned into a stalker. From the phone conversation at the beginning, the entire song gives you a great view into how twisted his mind really is, and how convinced he is that he's allowed to do what he is doing because he considers the girl 'his' in every aspect. The way that the singer twists his voice at just the right moments really emphasizes that.

Yeah I love it in the begining necro, where the singer goes from a very solom (sp?) like voice to an almost evil and twisted one for a second. It's truly a great song.

Infact, I think i'll listen to it now :D

EDIT: This is the part i'm talking about. The bolded part is when his voice changes. It's probaly my fav. part of the song.

I gave you my time

I gave you my whole life

I gave you my love, every dime

They told me it was... a crime

Do you remember?

Or did it all go in vain...

I'm now playing: Fundamentally Loathsome - Marilyn Manson

mechanical.jpg

Here is the full set of lyrics.

And I wanna wake up

In your white, white sun.

And I wanna wake up

In your world with no pain

But I'll just suffer

In a hope to die someday

While you are numb

All of the way...

[Chorus]

When I hate it

I know I can feel,

But when you love

You know it's not real

When I hate it

I know I can feel,

But when you love

You know it's not real

Now I'm resigned to this

Wicked ****in' world

On its way

To Hell

The living are dead

And I hope to join them, too.

I know what to do

And I do it well.

[Chorus]

Shoot myself to love you.

If I loved myself, I'd be shooting you.

[Repeat x4]

- - - - - - - - -

It's pretty easy to tell what the song's about if you look at the lyrics. ^_^

Well, there you go. Hope you enjoyed it.

nuff said.

Not really "nuff said" because you havnt tols us what songs ure liking from it or what kind of music they are. pfft

Worst post ever.

just cause you had to cry about it.

What to make of the Aquabats? Band members have stage names like Jimmy the Robot and MC Bat Commander. On stage they wear identical outfits and masks that make them look like the hybrid of a Mexican wrestler and a cheesy comic book super hero. Then there are song titles like "Tiger Rider vs. the Time Sprinkler!" and "Nerd Alert!" And yes, each exciting song title ends with an exclamation point!

What to make of the Aquabats? How about a damn good time? The costumes and the funny lyrics were twin gimmicks to get this group noticed, and it worked. And it stuck. You would think that by now (a decade in) the boys would have abandoned the shtick to show that they're "serious musicians." Instead, they have revved up the ridiculousness to a level way beyond novelty, to a point where it becomes sophistication. MC Bat Commander has a singing voice and style that approximates that of Oingo Boingo's Danny Elfman; that combined with the Aquabats' penchant for zaniness should please fans of the long disbanded Boingo. Some of the funny stuff here is more overt than sublime though, particularly the story of an eternally dumped guy, "Hot Summer Nights (Won't Last Forever)!" The wild ride of "Demolition Rickshaw!" has a funny sing-along chorus too. But the bottom line here is that these guys have mastered their version of ska/punk; the cartoonishness just adds to the fun.

They have great music and there funny guys, just look at how they dress and perform.

Nice, relaxing breeze.

Originally from playstation rpg game "Wild arms". Was on peaceful Village called Baskar (one of the beginning places).

Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.
