April 23, 200917 yr Mining. It is 50k xp an hour on a full world powermining iron and may even be faster with granite. Definitely easier than most people think. And yes, I know, my mining level is not very good. I got too hooked on it with mousekeys and told myself I couldn't mine again until I had 99 runecraft.
April 23, 200917 yr Farming should be done while training other skills so if you keep it up you should hit 99... eventually. Other choices for decent, not mind-numbingly skills I would say Firemaking, Hunter, Woodcutting, or Fishing. Other skills have rather lower experience rates/hr, or involves cash.

I dunno, I personally find hunter very boring. 99 str, attack, defence, hitpoints, slayer and summoning is the best 99s in terms of time spent, IMO. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
