What happened to Torstol?

My mate bought 16m of Torstol's at 320 each. He made 134m..borderline bug abuse?

 

 

 

16m x 320 = 5,120,000,000

 

16m x 3877 = 62,032,000,000

 

so you're telling me he spent over 5 billion on 16m torstol, then sold those 16m torstol at the correct price (being around 3877 currently) and made 134m?

Bad day? Girlfriend just dumpe- Oh, yeah.. :roll:. He told me he'd bought 50k Torstols for roughly 320gp each and had made 134m profit. I havn't spoken to him since he told me to confirm it, nor did I instantly perform a some 'basic arithmetic' to check, as he is a trustworthy friend and a longtime merchant and grand exchange profiteer. I don't know the exact GE price that they went to, just somewhere around the 320 mark. It seems to me that you saw my post and were somewhat enraged at the possibility that some large profits had passed you by, and without thinking clearly entered rant mode! I somewhat doubt that he was able to buy 50,000 torstols but if he was fortunate enough to have done so, your calculations have proved that he would not have made 134M gp!

Lulz you should learn to read. 13m is never even mentioned in the post. I calculated for 16m torstol, and for 16m worth of torstol.

 

 

 

Nightshade, I meant to type he's not you're. My bad on that. In other news, I saw this thread while they were still low, and sent in a bug report, so I wasn't mad about anything. I just felt the need to prove a [cabbage] story was [cabbage] through the use of simple math.

Just something I thought of, perhaps Jagex is trying to fix the potion crisis (the fact that half the potion in runescape take hours to buy at max). The problem is with the high price of herbs, and the low price of potions, no one is making potions anymore. If they lowered the price of herbs to a decent price, people would start making potions again.

 

 

 

I think this maybe be because of farming. I know that I dont ever buy any herbs, i'd rather buy seeds and grow the herbs myself. Another thing is that i dont sell my herbs after i grow them, I make them into potions myself for herblore xp.
