trapical
I used MSN for the lsat 6 years or so. But now in college EVERYONE uses AIM. I download it and it asks for a screenname, so I put in trapical. It says that name is in use and I yell at it, No it can't be in use, I never used AIM before... :x Some scammer stole the name trapical when I was playing RS and tried to scam people pretending to be me I assume   Not only did that putz probably stain my name since people say a 'trapical' trying to scam them, but more importantly now I don't have a AIM account : ( I tried tropicalisland, tropicalwater, even tropicalsunset for crying out loud, and the plural of all those. I need a name that doesnt have numbers in it... any sugestions? :?

Guest GhostRanger
Maybe someone tried to spell the name "tropical" and mispelled it, not noticing they had after they registered it. But seriously, I doubt they were pretending to be you. I use to own the website feezle.com, my email is [email protected] (dont bother sending me keyloggers, I don't play RS anymore), and when I tried to take the Screen Name feezle it was taken. Its just so many people use AIM and have multiple screen names its impossible to find a good original name.
trapical
You are known as trapical to your college friends? :? Actually, quite a few of them do, but everyone that knows me know the adjective that I represent is 'tropical'. Besides, when telling people your screen name trapical si so easy and short. My old buddy had something like "elem8nT_Sk8ator_9287AC" Maybe someone tried to spell the name "tropical" and mispelled it, not noticing they had after they registered it. I was just messing to humor myself and I tried "tropicalsunsets87" It was taken, and so were the combinations with numbers 72, 5, 15, and 90  I mean honestly, someone actually had tropicalsunsets90? That doesnt even make sence

trapical
Ah, I found one! Out of desperation i tried sponge 107, shineyredpony, and boatsfishand8. Only the last one worked, but boatsfishand8 didn't make any sence so I went back and made "lostpalmtree" It also doesnt make any sence but its easy to spell, and is remotly tropical  Yay for me. Feel free to add me
vladmoney
aye you are to late to get any good screen names, most of them were taken a long long time ago (i got vladmoney though, woot). Your gona have to settle with numbers in the end, unless u want to think of a real unique one like mine. I wanted to get my new screenname that I use for stuff (madjoy) but it's taken. :( Everybody hug and spread the love :D
BlueLancer
Most good AIM usernames are obviously taken since you could register them way before even the dot.com "bubble" began (around 1997 up to 2000), and it only makes it worse that AOL does not purge old usernames. My friend is very lucky to have the screennames Gandalf and Boromir, which he registered pre-2k (LOTR was a bit less known back then because the movies weren't out yet... Yes the books were very liked and popular even back then but not to the extent of millions of 10 year olds copying the names from the books to online screennames). He, though, sold 'Gandalf' for $1800 dollars. So it seems obvious good names for AIM are in high demand. :) So the next time a huge corporation like google starts giving out gmail accounts or a second AOL giving screennames, be sure to register early. People are already offering thousands for [email protected], but don't worry... Gmail wont go public for a long time and there's plenty more time to register good screennames. stan18
god it was hard choosing a sn..... i remember back in middle school we would use stupid screenames... i was killercheese18  those days are gone now, tho, i now have a better, more creative sn. I won't say it due to safety reasons, but i formed it while doing a QPS lab last year. Think tin 8)
Scruffy5389
unfortunately, Ive always thought that prejudice against numbers in names was stupid. Thus, my name has numbers, and I'm gradually starting to see why people dont like em. They don't show a lack of creativity in most cases, theyre just distracting. randomguy324
Gosh... I swear there's some people out there that purposely take all the names that don't have numbers in them just to piss other people off. Every name that I type in that makes sense has "already been taken"... I think that AIM should just deactivate any accounts inactive for more than 6 months really. weezcake
I've never had trouble making up an SN without numbers. I've only had one sn with numbers, and it was my first one. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. Korla
I've never had trouble making up an SN without numbers. I've only had one sn with numbers, and it was my first one. well, weezcake is pretty darn random weezy ;) Korla was taken both on xanga and AIM I think...which I found odd...the only times I've heard it besides me is in a book by Catherine Cerr where Korla is an old maid to a smallish lord in som obscure lands, and in the Indian folkartist Korla Pandit. Also it's a region in china...anyway, none of the three seems really attractive as names go :D
